MIN WR Stefon Diggs - Week 8 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 vs. Washington Redskins

Stefon Diggs had another huge game last week, finishing 7-142 on eight targets. He was featured a little more due to Adam Thielen's injury, but he's been a big part of this offense all season. He's topped 100 receiving yards in three of his last four games, and he could easily hit that number again in Week 8 against a bad Washington defense. If Thielen is inactive, that should be good news for Diggs. Even if Thielen plays, Diggs should be a great start. He should be viewed as a high-end WR1 against the Redskins.

MIN WR Stefon Diggs - Week 7 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 at Detroit Lions

Stefon Diggs lives. The Vikings wideout went off last week, finishing 7-167-3 on a team-high 11 targets. He's now topped 100 receiving yards in two of his last three games as Minnesota's passing offense has found life. He gets a solid matchup this week against the Lions, but you can likely expect a big dropoff in production. In the four games outside of those 100-yard performances, Diggs is averaging 36 yards per game. So he's been a bit of a boom-or-bust wideout this season. Still, his ceiling makes him very valuable and he should be viewed as a solid WR2 against Detroit.

MIN WR Stefon Diggs - Week 6 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6 vs. Philadelphia Eagles

Kirk Cousins threw for over 300 yards, but Stefon Diggs saw just 44 yards of that off three catches. Diggs went over 100 yards in Week 4, but outside of that game, he's been pretty mediocre, averaging 2.25 receptions and 36 yards. It's hard to give up on Diggs knowing his talent, but the production hasn't quite been there in 2019. He might be able to bounce back in a favorable matchup against the Eagles this week. Philadelphia is allowing the fifth-most fantasy points to receivers. We like Diggs as a WR3.

MIN WR Stefon Diggs - Week 5 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 5 at New York Giants

Stefon Diggs was finally able to convert targets into production, finishing with easily his best game of the season in Week 4. He caught all seven of his targets for 108 yards. In fact, his production in that game alone (108 yards) was more than his first three games combined (101 yards). Still, in the week that followed, Diggs expressed frustration with the team and trade rumors started swirling. As of now, Diggs remains on Minnesota's roster so we have to move forward thinking he'll stay there. This week, he gets a favorable matchup against the Giants who have allowed the fourth-most fantasy points to receivers. We like Diggs as a lower-end WR2.

MIN WR Stefon Diggs - Week 4 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 4 at Chicago Bears

Stefon Diggs has struggled to make much happen this season. He's caught just six passes through three games in 2019 for a total of 101 yards. Once a PPR machine, Diggs has finished his games with two, one and three receptions, respectively. He gets what should be a tough matchup against the Bears this week, although he lit Chicago up a season ago. He went 13-126-1 in his first game and 8-47-1 in his second. But this is a new year, and Diggs shouldn't be viewed as much more than a WR3/WR4 in Week 4.

MIN WR Stefon Diggs - Week 3 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 3 vs. Oakland Raiders

Stefon Diggs had a healthy seven targets in Week 2, but caught just one pass all game. Thankfully that catch was a 49-yard touchdown, but three receptions through two games is not what we expected from Diggs. If anything, Diggs made a name for himself early on in his career because he caught a lot of passes for little yards. In 2019, it's been the opposite.

He should play well this week in a favorable matchup against the Raiders. Oakland is giving up the fourth-most fantasy points to opposing wideouts this season. We like Diggs as a solid WR2 option in Week 3.

MIN WR Stefon Diggs - Week 2 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 2 at Green Bay Packers

Stefon Diggs couldn't get much going last week, mostly due to the fact that Minnesota threw the ball just 10 times. Diggs finished with two catches for 37 yards, highlighted by a 31-yard grab. Diggs is still a talented wideout, and Minnesota should start passing the ball more than 10 times, especially this week against Green Bay. His Week 1 game wasn't great, but Diggs should bounce back. We like him as a solid WR2 option against the Packers.
