HOU WR Stefon Diggs - Week 8 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 vs. Indianapolis Colts

With the passing game quiet overall in Week 7, Stefon Diggs didn't get a chance to do much damage last week, going for just 23 yards. He has a nice opportunity to bounce back this week against the Colts. Diggs caught both of C.J. Stroud's passing touchdowns against the Colts in Week 1, two of his six catches for the day. As the current WR1 in Houston, Diggs still has plenty of fantasy value, especially this week.

HOU WR Stefon Diggs - Week 7 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 at Green Bay Packers

With Nico Collins out, Stefon Diggs saw seven targets and caught six for 77 yards and his first touchdown as a Texan. Houston didn't have to do much in the passing game but Diggs still produced a nice day. He has at least 69 yards in four straight games. As the temporary WR1 in Houston, Diggs should continue to see a good amount of volume from C.J. Stroud to keep him as a WR2 with upside in fantasy against one of the lower-end passing defenses in Green Bay. Diggs should see a good amount of Jaire Alexander, who has been up and down this season.

HOU WR Stefon Diggs - Week 6 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6 at New England Patriots

Stefon Diggs assumes the WR1 role in Houston if Nico Collins is unable to play. Diggs has already made a strong connection with QB C.J. Stroud and has at least 69 yards in three straight games. Without Collins, Diggs has a chance for his first touchdown since Week 1. New England ranks 25th in the league in passing yards per game, so there are fantasy points to be had for Diggs, who cracks our top ten this week.

Week 5 vs. Buffalo Bills

Another revenge game for Stefon Diggs. First, it was Minnesota in Week 3 and now it's Buffalo in Week 5. The first revenge game went pretty well for Diggs, catching ten passes for 94 yards. Could he be in for another such game against Buffalo? He's a WR2 in fantasy with a chance to pop against the team he was first traded to.

HOU WR Stefon Diggs - Week 4 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 4 vs. Jacksonville Jaguars

Stefon Diggs led the way Sunday with 10 catches (on 12 targets) for 94 yards. He has 20 catches for the season and now gets a favorable matchup against the Jaguars, who have struggled against the pass. Diggs is easily the WR2 in Houston and the Texans have shown there is enough for both Diggs and Nico Collins. Diggs is a solid WR2 this week.

Week 3 at Minnesota Vikings

It's the first of two revenge games this season for Stefon Diggs as he faces the team that drafted him and where he spent the first five seasons of his career before being traded to Buffalo in 2020. Early on, Diggs is the WR2 behind Nico Collins but does lead the team so far with two touchdown catches. You have to believe there is extra motivation for Diggs in this one, so don't be surprised if he finds the end zone again this week. Diggs is a low-end WR2 this week.

HOU WR Stefon Diggs - Week 2 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 2 vs. Chicago Bears

C.J. Stroud certainly helped make Stefon Diggs feel right at home early on with two touchdown connections in their Week 1 win. Diggs was target six times as Stroud went pretty evenly between Diggs, Nico Collins (8) and Tank Dell (7). It will be interesting to see if that trend continues, but it's fair to believe it will. Diggs gets the Bears this week and a matchup with slot cornerback Kyler Gordon, who allowed just 29 yards on three catches last week against the Titans. Of course, it's a big matchup change going from Will Levis to Stroud. Diggs is a WR2 this week.
