MIN WR Stefon Diggs - Week 12 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 vs. Green Bay Packers

Stefon Diggs was the one to take over last week as he caught 13-of-18 targets for 126 yards and a touchdown. It was his fourth 100-yard game of the season, which is impressive considering the success his teammate Adam Thielen has had this year as well.

Diggs gets a matchup vs. the Packers this week, which was a team he set a season-high 128 yards against earlier in the year. He also scored twice in that matchup, so it's not crazy to predict another strong game from Diggs in Week 12. He can be viewed as a strong WR1 choice.

MIN WR Stefon Diggs - Week 11 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 at Chicago Bears

Stefon Diggs sat out Week 9, but with a bye week last week he should be healthy enough to return. Diggs has been somewhat off-and-on this season with three games above 100 yards and three games below 35 yards.

He should have more of an average performance this week in a decent matchup vs. the Bears. Chicago is mid-tier when it comes to stopping wideouts in 2018, so we can view Diggs as a WR2 choice in Week 11.

MIN WR Stefon Diggs - Week 9 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 vs. Detroit Lions

Stefon Diggs bounced back with a nice 10-119-1 game last week. It was his third 100-yard game of the season, which hasn't been as impressive as his teammate Adam Thielen, but it's certainly not bad. It's worth noting that Diggs missed practice Wednesday and Thursday (ribs), but says he expects to play.

Assuming he's healthy, he gets a decent matchup against the Lions. Detroit ranks near the lower end of allowing fantasy points, but that's weighted by two extreme games near the start of the season. Diggs should be fine, and can be viewed as a low-end WR1 option.

MIN WR Stefon Diggs - Week 8 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 vs. New Orleans Saints

Stefon Diggs had a weird game last week, seeing a team-high 15 targets while catching a healthy eight passes. But he had just 33 yards (4.1 ypc) for the second week in a row. He also lost seven yards on two carries. Diggs' production has been lacking due to Adam Thielen's strong season, but he's still capable of big games.

We can likely expect one of those big games this week in a favorable matchup vs. the Saints. New Orleans has allowed the most fantasy points to opposing WRs, and we all know what happened the last time these two teams faced each other. Diggs can be viewed as a WR1 this week.

MIN WR Stefon Diggs - Week 7 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 at New York Jets

Stefon Diggs has been the clear No. 2 behind Adam Thielen and sometimes that's fine, but sometimes like last week it isn't. Diggs had a poor outing, finishing with 33 yards on three catches (five targets).

He could be in line for a bounce-back week in a favorable matchup against the Jets this week. New York has allowed the sixth-most fantasy points to opposing WRs so there's room for Thielen and Diggs to both succeed. Diggs is in WR1 territory in Week 7.

MIN WR Stefon Diggs - Week 6 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6 vs. Arizona Cardinals

While Adam Thielen has been making history, Stefon Diggs has been able to put up big numbers as well. He caught 10-of-11 targets for 91 yards last week, and even added 25 yards on the ground. He's been the clear No. 2 in terms of production, but he's seen 10+ targets in four straight games, with at least 90 yards in three of those matchups.

Diggs gets a tough matchup this week against Arizona, who has allowed the fourth-fewest fantasy points to opposing WRs. The Cardinals have only given up one TD to wideouts this year, and Diggs hasn't scored since Week 2, so finding the end zone seems unlikely. But Diggs can be valuable in other ways, and should be viewed as a low-end WR1 or strong WR2.

MIN WR Stefon Diggs - Week 5 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 5 at Philadelphia Eagles

While Adam Thielen has been the main star in the Vikings' WR corps this season, Stefon Diggs has been putting up numbers as well. He has two 100-yard games, three touchdowns and has 10+ targets in three straight weeks.

He should continue to have big production this week vs. the Eagles, who are giving up the third-most fantasy points to opposing wideouts. Philly has had at least 40 pass attempts against them in 3/4 games, so there should be opportunities for Diggs to get multiple receptions. We like him as a solid WR1 choice vs. Philadelphia.
