Jaguars beat writer Mike DiRocco answered a question about RB Storm Johnson and getting more of a role in 2015.

DiRocco: Only if he improves his issues with pass protection. It's not a physical problem. He is willing to block and can do it. He just struggles knowing what his responsibilities are in certain protections and audibles. If he's able to figure that out then he will have more opportunities.

Fantasy Impact: 

Blocking responsibilities are a big reason young RBs can't get on the field. The emergence of Denard Robinson last season could also limit Johnson's snaps. And don't forget about Toby Gerhart - DiRocco added that he thinks the starting spot will come down to Robinson or Gerhart in 2015. The team also signed Bernard Pierce this offseason.

Jaguars RB Toby Gerhart (ankle, probable) took full practice reps again Friday and is probable for Week 15. Gerhart likely takes over as the lead back for Jacksonville with Denard Robinson out for the year with a mid-foot sprain. The team said that Jordan Todman and Storm Johnson will also play, so it’s tough to get too excited about Gerhart in a bad matchup with Baltimore.

The Jaguars announced that RB Denard Robinson is done for the season.

HC Gus Bradley says Toby Gerhart, Jordan Todman and Storm Johnson will share reps.

Fantasy Impact: 

We would expect the Jaguars to turn back to Gerhart, who they signed to be their feature back in the offseason. Todman and Johnson will be in the mix. Gerhart's 2.9 YPC is dreadful, but he has been running better (3.5 YPC) since Week 8, once his foot injury finally healed. We wouldn't recommend him in Week 15 against the Ravens, but he should have a chance to produce against the Titans in Week 16.

Jags beat writer Michael DiRocco answered a question about RB Storm Johnson

"I cautioned people not to go crazy over Johnson when he had a good game against Pittsburgh and I'll say the something similar now: Don't write him off. He certainly could develop into a solid player but he has to prove he can be a reliable pass protector."

Fantasy Impact: 

Johnson hasn't had too much of a chance, especially lately with Denard Robinson putting together a string of good games. It's tough to see Johnson having much fantasy value this season the way things stand at this point. Pass protection is a key factor for young RBs getting, and staying, on the field.
