CHI WR Taylor Gabriel - Week 13 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 13 at Detroit Lions

After getting 14 targets in Week 11, Taylor Gabriel had just three targets in Week 12, finishing 1-19. Gabriel is a difficult receiver to trust as he's prone to having games like that where he's barely used at all. He's a boom-or-bust option against the Lions this week. He played well in his first game against Detroit, finishing 4-39-1, but those numbers wouldn't be as great without that score. He's not much more than a WR5 in Week 13.

CHI WR Taylor Gabriel - Week 12 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 vs. New York Giants

Taylor Gabriel saw a ridiculous 14 targets last week, finishing with a solid 7-57. He's now topped 50 receiving yards in three of his last four games as more receivers besides Allen Robinson get involved. Gabriel gets a nice matchup against the Giants this week as New York is giving up the third-most fantasy points to receivers. Gabriel is a little hard to trust as a backup option in an offense that doesn't produce, but he can be viewed as a lower-end WR3.

CHI WR Taylor Gabriel - Week 11 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 at Los Angeles Rams

Taylor Gabriel went 4-39-1 last week on six targets. Gabriel has been surprisingly reliable in recent weeks, finishing with 53, 69 and 39 yards in his last three games. He's still not a super reliable option for fantasy purposes, but he can help out if you're struggling with byes or injuries. He should be viewed as a WR4 in Week 11 against the Rams.

CHI WR Taylor Gabriel - Week 10 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 vs. Detroit Lions

Taylor Gabriel led the Bears in receiving last week, but that was mostly due to a single 53-yard reception. Gabriel and even Anthony Miller will make a few big plays here and there for Chicago, but neither one has been reliable enough to trust on a weekly basis. Gabriel does get a favorable matchup this week against the Lions, but he's not much more than a low-end WR4.

CHI WR Taylor Gabriel - Week 7 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 vs. New Orleans Saints

Taylor Gabriel is expected to return this week, which will be his first game back since his huge three-touchdown game back in Week 3. But in the first two weeks, Gabriel was barely used in Chicago's offense, which makes him an unreliable fantasy option. His numbers are worth monitoring, but he would not be a strong fantasy play in Week 7 against the Saints.

CHI WR Taylor Gabriel - Week 4 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 4 vs. Minnesota Vikings

Taylor Gabriel came out of nowhere to finish with three touchdowns in Week 3, finishing with a total stat line of 6-75-3 (on seven targets). He even left the game early due to a concussion. He missed practice Wednesday, so his health status will need to be monitored for this game. But even if he does play, it's hard to read too much into the performance. Before his three-touchdown game, he had just three total catches on the season. He'll have a few big games here and there, but he's not a reliable fantasy option.

CHI WR Taylor Gabriel - Week 3 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 3 at Washington Redskins

Taylor Gabriel is playing a lot so far in 2019, but it isn't converting into production. He played 92% of the snaps in Week 1 and 87% in Week 2. But he has just 49 scrimmage yards through two games. He does get a favorable matchup this week against the Redskins, but it's hard to trust someone who hasn't done anything all year. He's probably not worth playing in redraft, but he could be a cheap DFS Hail Mary option.
