Scouting report

NO TE Taysom Hill - Week 10 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 at Pittsburgh Steelers

Taysom Hill touched the ball twice against the Ravens, throwing one pass and rushing once. Part of that likely was because the Saints were down early and couldn't get too cute. Hill is too touchdown-dependant in fantasy, especially with only playing between a quarter to a third of the offensive snaps. He also faces a tough Steelers defense this week. It's a weekly risk that Hill will break one or get a red-zone touchdown, so just be careful if you roll with Hill.

NO TE Taysom Hill - Week 9 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 vs. Baltimore Ravens

Taysom Hill saw a season-high ten carries last week, but that may have also been due to the Saints cruising to a shutout victory over the Raiders. He does it all for the Saints and is always one play away from a big one and also stealing a touchdown. No player is more risk/reward than Hill.

NO TE Taysom Hill - Week 8 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 vs. Las Vegas Raiders

Taysom Hill found the end zone last week to at least get him to double-digits in fantasy points and caught his first pass since Week 1. He remains the poster child for boom-or-bust at the tight end position, but the Saints do face a weak passes defense in Vegas, so maybe Hill sees more work as a receiver this week.

NO TE Taysom Hill - Week 7 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 at Arizona Cardinals

Taysom Hill is the poster child for boom-or-bust fantasy. A week after rushing for 112 yards and three touchdowns, Hill had just 55 total yards in Week 6. When he's on, he's high reward. But he's such a high risk each week. It's a tough weekly sell, but if Andy Dalton starts again, we could see Hill out there quite a bit.

NO TE Taysom Hill - Week 6 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6 vs. Cincinnati Bengals

Is Taysom Hill back to being the Swiss army knife for the Saints? With all the injuries they currently have, it makes total sense. He rushed nine times for 112 yards and three touchdowns last week against the Seahawks. He does have a touchdown now in three of the four games he has played in. The Saints may need him again, especially with Chris Olave uncertain for this week. Hill is definitely boom-or-bust, but when he's on, he is on. He's a low-end TE1 for us this week.

NO TE Taysom Hill - Week 5 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 5 vs. Seattle Seahawks

Taysom Hill continues to be sprinkled in as the goal-line quarterback for the Saints and could again be the actual backup quarterback to Andy Dalton this week against the Seahawks. Hill has two rushing touchdowns so far, but that's his main source of fantasy scoring, so without them, he has almost no fantasy value. He's not a recommended start this week.

NO QB Taysom Hill - Week 17 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 17 vs Panthers

Taysom Hill is back this week after being activated from the COVID list. As always, he has all the upside in the world thanks to his rushing ability. He's rushed 11 times in three straight games. That running ability alone makes him a low-end QB1. But despite all their woes on offense, Carolina has been one of the best defenses in the NFL this season and defensive coordinator Phil Snow will have some sort of game plan to stop Hill. Still, Hill is always a good bet to garner rushing yards and get a red-zone touchdown. He's our No. 11 QB this week.
