Scouting report

TEN WR Taywan Taylor - Week 17 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 17 vs. Indianapolis Colts

Taywan Taylor had three receptions for 64 yards last week as the Titans do occasionally take some shots down the field in their run-heavy offense, with Taylor typically being the guy they throw those shots to. But do you want to count on that? He's a high-risk, moderate reward player at the flex position this week.

TEN WR Taywan Taylor - Week 16 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 16 vs. Washington Redskins

Taywan Taylor had just two catches for 16 yards last week and just doesn't get enough work to be a viable play this week. He's pretty much an all-or-nothing play and given the Titans' heavy run load the past couple of weeks, that makes him too risky of a play.

TEN WR Taywan Taylor - Week 15 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 15 at New York Giants

Taywan Taylor has been useful in each of the past two games, including catching six passes for 59 yards last week. He has scored just once this season, however, making him much more of a flex option than anything else. There's just not a lot to like about the Titans' passing game.

TEN WR Taywan Taylor - Week 7 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 at Los Angeles Chargers

Much like teammate Corey Davis, Taywan Taylor posted a big game against the Eagles and has been a non-factor against everyone else. That included a one-catch, 13-yard effort last week against Baltimore. Taylor isn't someone who should be in your lineup. This offense just isn't trustworthy right now and Taylor is a big part of that.

TEN WR Taywan Taylor - Week 6 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6 vs. Baltimore Ravens

Sorry Taywan Taylor, but your three receptions for 30 yards last week was a lot closer to your previous output than the 7-77-0 line you posted the week before. The 30 yards actually matched his season low since getting shut out in the opener. It certainly wasn't what was expected after Rishard Matthews was released. Taylor is nothing more than a flex-option play this week against the Ravens.

TEN WR Taywan Taylor - Week 5 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 5 at Buffalo Bills

Taywan Taylor recorded seven catches for 77 yards last week with Rishard Matthews out of the picture and should be added on all season-long leagues at this point. He's the clear No. 2 receiver in Tennessee. That doesn't mean he should necessarily be in your lineup every week, but he's useful as a low-end WR3/flex play this week against Buffalo.

TEN WR Taywan Taylor - Week 4 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 4 at Philadelphia Eagles

With Rishard Matthews now out of the equation, at least Taywan Taylor has a more defined role. What that role means isn't much in this popgun offense. Taylor had four catches for 30 yards last week, though he's got the speed to be a threat to score from anywhere on the field. He's nothing more than a flex play option—and a rough one at that.
