Scouting report

NO WR Ted Ginn - Week 17 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 17 at Panthers

Ginn once again played less than 50 percent of snaps in Week 16 and saw just one target all game and he did not come down with the pass. Even in what we thought would be a revenge game back in Week 12 against the Panthers, Ginn had two catches. He might break a long one against the shaky Panthers' secondary but, as he's been all season, is the classic boom-or-bust.

NO WR Ted Ginn - Week 16 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 16 at Titans

Ginn's usage declined sharply in Week 15. He played less than 30% of the offensive snaps and saw just one target. It's very difficult to put trust in a player that only has four games with more than three catches in championship week.

NO WR Ted Ginn - Week 15 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 15 vs Colts

If you like playing with a little bit of fire, Ted Ginn would be the guy in the fantasy semifinals. He actually had more than two catches for a change, grabbing four passes against the 49ers. And he hit 50 yards for the first time since Week 1. Which means he'll likely regress back to the norm against the Colts, making him a very risky play if you're trying to advance.

NO WR Ted Ginn - Week 14 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 14 vs 49ers

Ginn has been surpassed by Tre'Quan Smith as the second wide receiver. Smith out-snapped Ginn again in Week 13 and Ginn only saw one target against the Falcons, which he did not haul in. Unless you are in a very deep league, Ginn isn't winning you a championship.

NO WR Ted Ginn - Week 13 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 13 at Falcons

It’s almost astonishing to see the streak Ginn has had with two-catch games. He did it yet again against the Panthers, his seventh such game this season. Against the Falcons in Week 10? A big goose egg. He’s also been out-snapped in recent weeks by Tre’Quan Smith. Ginn is back to being a desperation play with bye weeks done for the season.

NO WR Ted Ginn - Week 12 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 vs Panthers

Yet again, Ginn saw just a handful of targets and caught just two passes, his sixth game with just two catches. He did find the end zone against the Buccaneers and may do so against the Panthers. There's always the revenge factor for Ginn against the Panthers. But as has been the case, a touchdown helps make a respectable fantasy day for Ginn since he's hardly getting you any catches.

NO WR Ted Ginn - Week 11 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 at Buccaneers

Ginn continues to play roughly 70% of the snaps for the Saints. But he continues to do next to nothing with them. And in Week 10, it was nothing. Zero catches on three targets. He did catch his only touchdown pass of the season against the Buccaneers in Week 5, but you're heavily banking on such a catch again for Ginn to post a respectable fantasy score.
