Scouting report

MIN QB Teddy Bridgewater - Week 15, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 15 vs. Chicago

Teddy Bridgewater hasn't even hit double digit passing touchdowns this season, and has just one game with multiple throwing TDs. Not only does he have just nine passing touchdowns on the season, but he also has eight interceptions. Not a great ratio.

He has less than 200 yards passing in seven of his 13 starts, and overall he just doesn't do a whole lot as a fantasy quarterback. He gets a good matchup this week, but he didn't do much in his previous game against the Bears (187 yards, 1 TD, 1 INT). Bridgewater should be viewed as a poor quarterback play this week.

MIN QB Teddy Bridgewater - Week 14, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 14 at Arizona
Teddy Bridgewater and the entire Vikings offense was dreadful last week. Minnesota put up the lowest offensive numbers of any team this season. Bridgewater's low numbers were kind of the standard as he's now thrown for less than 200 yards in five of his last six games. He's also thrown just two total touchdowns in those games as well. This week he gets a difficult matchup against Arizona, and we just don't see him having much success. He'll be one of the poorer fantasy options at QB this week.

MIN QB Teddy Bridgewater - Week 13, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 13 vs. Seattle

Teddy Bridgewater has failed to throw for more than 190 yards in four of his last five games. He's thrown just one touchdown in three of those games, and none in the other two. Simply put: he's not getting it done.

Expect his low numbers to continue this week against the Seahawks' secondary. Seattle's defense is full of great defenders, and Bridgewater isn't likely to air it out deep against them. It's just not his game. Bridgewater will be one of the poorer options this week at QB.

MIN QB Teddy Bridgewater - Week 12, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 at Atlanta
Teddy Bridgewater had his second-highest yardage total of the season last week (296) as the Vikings tried to keep pace with the Packers high powered offense. Even then, Bridgewater only had one touchdown in the outing. This week, Bridgewater faces a tougher matchup against the Falcons. Atlanta's pass defense has been tough against opposing quarterbacks holding them to about 190 passing yards in the last four games. Bridgewater is one of the poorer options at quarterback this week given the matchup and his usual low production.

MIN QB Teddy Bridgewater - Week 11, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 vs. Green Bay

As long as Adrian Peterson is running the way he is, we won't see big numbers out of Teddy Bridgewater. Last week, AP ran for over 200 yards, leaving just 140 and a touchdown for Bridgewater. It's now the third consecutive week Bridgewater has thrown for fewer than 200 yards and scored only once.

Bridgewater is playing well for Minnesota, but he's not putting up numbers for fantasy. That might change this week against a poor Packers defense, but it's unlikely. Minnesota will probably just hand the ball off to Peterson and let him do the damage.

MIN QB Teddy Bridgewater - Week 10, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 at Oakland

Teddy Bridgewater is expected to play after leaving last week's game with a concussion. He was playing well before exiting, passing for 144 yards with a rushing touchdown.

He gets a great matchup this week against an Oakland defense that has allowed an average of 353 passing yards in the last three weeks. Bridgewater isn't known for putting up big numbers, but it's hard not to believe he'll have some success against this poor defense. Bridgewater remains somewhat of a risky play because of his health and because he doesn't have huge games. He's on the lower end of quarterback options this week.

MIN QB Teddy Bridgewater - Week 9, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 vs. St. Louis
Teddy Bridgewater isn't the type of quarterback who will light up opposing defenses. In his seven starts this season, he has six touchdowns and five interceptions. His numbers won't see much of an increase this week, either, as he faces a stingy Rams defense. St. Louis has allowed the second fewest fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks this season. When you mix Bridgewater's already low stats and the Rams tough pass defense, you get a poor option at quarterback.
