WAS WR Terry McLaurin - Week 9 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 vs. New York Giants

Terry McLaurin had one of his better games of the season the last time Washington played, finishing 7-90-1 on 11 targets. He's now had at least 10 targets in four of his seven games played this season. McLaurin's touchdown output (2) has been low, but he's still been very productive in 2020. This week he faces a Giants defense he finished 7-74 against in Week 6. We're predicting somewhat similar numbers for him this week, making him a low-end WR1 play in Week 9.

WAS WR Terry McLaurin - Week 7 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 vs. Dallas Cowboys

We're in spooky szn, which means Scary Terry should emerge soon. McLaurin had a solid game last week, finishing 7-74 on 12 targets. He's now had at least 60 receiving yards in every game but one. We project him to easily top that mark again this week in a favorable matchup against the Cowboys (No. 29 aFPA). The Cowboys have allowed 12 total touchdowns to receivers, which ties the Vikings for a league-high mark. FWIW, McLaurin played well against Dallas last season, finishing 5-62-1 in his one appearance. We like McLaurin as a solid WR1 play in Week 7.

WAS WR Terry McLaurin - Week 6 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6 at New York Giants

Terry McLaurin had his worst game of the season last week as the Washington offense struggled to pick up first downs. McLaurin still saw a solid seven targets (a figure he's reached in every game this season), but only finished 3-26 (both season lows). He gets another tough matchup this week against the Giants (10th in aFPA), but we expect him to finish with better numbers. We're projecting around 80-90 receiving yards on 5-6 receptions, which makes McLaurin a solid WR2 play.

WAS WR Terry McLaurin - Week 5 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 5 vs. Los Angeles Rams

Terry McLaurin saw an insane 14 targets last week, finishing 10-118-0. He's now topped 100 receiving yards in two of his four starts as he's a lone bright spot in this Washington offense. McLaurin gets a new quarterback this week in Kyle Allen, so it'll be interesting to see how that dynamic plays out. McLaurin should still see the bulk of the targets in this offense, so we're not too worried about a quarterback change. What we are worried about, however, is the matchup. McLaurin faces Jalen Ramsey and the Rams' defense which is No. 1 in aFPA for receivers. The Rams have only given up one touchdown to receivers this season. McLaurin should still be viewed as a lower-end WR1 play in Week 5.

WAS WR Terry McLaurin - Week 4 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 4 vs. Baltimore Ravens

Terry McLaurin continues to shine while Washington continues to struggle as a whole. McLaurin finished 4-83 on a team-high eight targets last week. He's easily the best receiver Washington has, and he'll continue to get enough looks to keep him relevant in fantasy. He gets a tough matchup this week against the Ravens, which keeps him from being a dominant WR1 play, but he should still be viewed as a strong WR2 this week. We're projecting him to finish with about 5 receptions for 100+ yards.

WAS WR Terry McLaurin - Week 3 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 3 at Cleveland Browns

Washington didn't do much as an offense in Week 2, but that didn't stop Terry McLaurin. The second-year receiver had a strong game, finishing 7-125-1 on a team-high 10 targets. McLaurin has now had 5+ receptions and 50+ receiving yards in 8 of his 16 games played. That's consistent double-digit production in PPR formats, and it makes McLaurin a low-end WR1. That's what he should be viewed as in Week 3 in a decent matchup against the Browns.

WAS WR Terry McLaurin - Week 2 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 2 at Arizona Cardinals

Terry McLaurin didn't have a "Scary Terry" game, but he finished with a solid 5-61 on seven targets. If this is McLaurin's floor, then that's not bad. He faced a tough matchup against Darius Slay and the Eagles, and came away productive. He'll get a better matchup in Week 2 against the Cardinals where we like McLaurin as a low-end WR1 play. We project him to finish with around 70 yards with a decent touchdown probability.
