WAS WR Terry McLaurin - Week 14 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 14 vs. Dallas Cowboys

Terry McLaurin had another disappointing outing last week, finishing 3-22 on five targets. It's a season-low for McLaurin, but it's the third time this year he's finished below 30 receiving yards without a touchdown. Even though he's had some bad games, McLaurin has mostly been productive with a solid season average of 5.1 receptions and 67.3 receiving yards per game. He has a chance for a productive game this week against the Cowboys. Dallas has given up the fifth-most receiving yards to wide receivers this year. We expect McLaurin to finish closer to his 70-yard average rather than his below-30 mark from last week. McLaurin should be viewed as a strong WR2 heading into Week 14.

WAS WR Terry McLaurin - Week 13 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 13 at Las Vegas Raiders

Terry McLaurin had an OK game last week, finishing 4-51-0 on seven targets. It's the eighth time in 11 games McLaurin has topped 50 receiving yards this year. It'll be interesting to see if he's able to top that mark this week in a tough matchup vs. the Raiders. Las Vegas has allowed the 5th-fewest total receiving yards to wide receivers this year. They've also given up just eight receiving touchdowns to the position, which is tied for 4th lowest in the league. It's not a great matchup for McLaurin, but the Washington WR has shined in bad matchups before. He can still be viewed as a lower-end WR1 in Week 13.

WAS WR Terry McLaurin - Week 12 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 vs. Seattle Seahawks

Terry McLaurin overcame a bad matchup and had a huge performance last week, finishing 5-103-1 on seven targets. It's the fourth 100-yard game for Scary Terry this season as the Washington receiver continues to be productive. With Curtis Samuel sidelined for pretty much the entire year, McLaurin is the only real threat at receiver on this Washington team, which leads to plenty of targets each and every week. That'll be the case again this week in a solid matchup vs. the Seahawks. Seattle has given up the sixth-most receptions but has given up the second-fewest touchdowns (7) to WRs this season. So even if McLaurin can't find the endzone, he should still have a productive game, making him a low-end WR1 play.

WAS WR Terry McLaurin - Week 11 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 at Carolina Panthers

Terry McLaurin led Washington with eight targets last week, but had a modest game, finishing 6-59. McLaurin has cooled off lately with four games below 60 yards in his last five outings after finishing with at least 60 yards in his first four games of the season. He's also scored just once in that five-game span. Things won't get much easier for McLaurin this week as he faces a tough Panthers secondary. Carolina has given up the fourth-fewest receiving yards to WRs so far this year. But while it's not a great matchup, McLaurin is usually still able to produce something as he's often the most targeted Washington WR every week. He should still be viewed as a WR2 play in Week 11 despite the tough matchup.

WAS WR Terry McLaurin - Week 10 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Scary Terry unfortunately didn't show up for Halloween, finishing 3-23 on seven targets. He also added 12 yards on a carry. It's not too surprising considering he faced a tough Denver defense. Things should get easier this week in a favorable matchup vs. the Bucs who are 28th in schedule-adjusted fantasy points allowed to WRs. McLaurin should be back to his usual self in Week 10. We like him as a low-end WR1 or a strong WR2 play this week.

WAS WR Terry McLaurin - Week 8 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 at Denver Broncos

Terry McLaurin saw a team-high 12 targets last week, finishing with a strong 7-122-1. It's his fourth game this season with at least 10 targets, and his third game with at least 100 receiving yards as McLaurin continues to be the only relevant Washington receiver. He draws a tough matchup vs. the Broncos this week, who are eighth in schedule-adjusted fantasy points allowed to WRs. But McLaurin should see enough targets to be productive, even if he doesn't convert on all of his looks. He's fifth in the league in targets for a reason, because Washington doesn't really have anyone else to throw to. He'll be a strong WR2 play in Week 8.

WAS WR Terry McLaurin - Week 7 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 at Green Bay Packers

Terry McLaurin saw eight targets last week but struggled to get going as he finished 4-28, a season-low in receiving yards. It's also the fourth time (in six games) this season where McLaurin has finished with four receptions. McLaurin is easily Washington's best receiving threat as he has nearly triple the receiving yards as any other wide receiver on the team. Based on his production so far this season, we can just chalk last week up as a bad game. He should be able to bounce back this week in a solid matchup against the Packers who are 20th in schedule-adjusted fantasy points allowed to wide receivers. McLaurin should be viewed as a low-end WR1 in Week 7.
