WAS WR Terry McLaurin - Week 16 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 16 vs. Carolina Panthers

Terry McLaurin is listed as "doubtful" this week, so there's a strong chance he's inactive.

WAS WR Terry McLaurin - Week 15 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 15 vs. Seattle Seahawks

For the second week in a row, Terry McLaurin frustrated fantasy owners with a poor performance. He's finished with two receptions in each of his last two games, and has his two lowest yardage totals (14 & 24) of the season. He's also gone scoreless in five straight games. Despite his recent struggles, there's reason for optimism this week. He faces a Seahawks defense that's allowed (by a solid margin) the most receptions and receiving yards to WRs this season. Expect a bounce-back performance from Scary Terry in Week 15. We like him as a strong WR2 play.

WAS WR Terry McLaurin - Week 14 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 14 at San Francisco 49ers

Terry McLaurin had his worst game of the season last week, finishing with season lows in targets (6), receptions (2) and receiving yards (14). What made this even worse is the fact Washington threw the ball 46 times, more than their average. The game wasn't great, but fantasy owners shouldn't be too concerned. It was only the second time this season Scary Terry finished below 60 receiving yards in a game. He should bounce back this week in a favorable matchup against the 49ers (No. 26 aFPA). We like McLaurin as a strong WR2 play in Week 14.

WAS WR Terry McLaurin - Week 13 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 13 at Pittsburgh Steelers

Alex Smith didn't throw much last week, but when he did, he was often targeting Terry McLaurin. Scary Terry finished with nine targets while no other Washington WR saw more than one. McLaurin had another seven-reception game, giving him five in the last six games (and six on the season). In that six-game span, McLaurin is averaging 91.7 yards while not finishing below 70 in any game. While the Steelers do have a great defense, wide receivers have actually found some fantasy success against them. WRs have 14 receiving touchdowns against Pittsburgh this season, which ties for fourth-most in the league. McLaurin can be viewed as a solid WR2 play in Week 13.

WAS WR Terry McLaurin - Week 12 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 at Cowboys

After four straight games of catching seven passes, Terry McLaurin's streak snapped with only a five-catch game in Week 11. This was more the result of Washington throwing the ball less rather than poor production by McLaurin. He still saw a healthy seven targets, and finished with 84 yards. He's now topped 80 yards in every game but three this season. McLaurin should be viewed in WR1 range this week as he gets a favorable matchup against the Cowboys. Earlier this season against Dallas, McLaurin finished 7-90-1. It wouldn't be surprising to see him put up similar numbers again in Week 12.

WAS WR Terry McLaurin - Week 11 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 vs. Cincinnati Bengals

Terry McLaurin had another productive game in Week 10, finishing 7-95 on nine targets. This was surprisingly his fourth-straight game with seven receptions, and his sixth game this season with 7+ receptions. He also added 27 yards on a rushing attempt, giving him 122 scrimmage yards, his fourth 100-yard game of the season. There isn't much to like about this Washington offense, but McLaurin seems to find a way to produce no matter what. He'll be a WR1 play in Week 11 in a favorable matchup against the Bengals (No. 31 aFPA). The Bengals have given up 13 receiving touchdowns to WRs, the third-highest (tied) in the league.

WAS WR Terry McLaurin - Week 10 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 at Detroit Lions

Terry McLaurin continues his streak of production, finishing 7-115-1 on eight targets last week. He's now had three straight games with seven receptions and five games (out of nine) with seven receptions or more this season. McLaurin has now also reached 100+ receiving yards in three games this season. Despite Washington's many struggles at quarterback this year, McLaurin has found success. He'll remain a WR1 play in Week 10 despite a tough matchup against the Lions (No. 10 aFPA).
