Giants placed DT Dexter Lawrence and TE Theo Johnson on season-ending injured reserve.
Related players: Daniel Bellinger, Chris Manhertz, Greg Dulcich
Since Week 9, a span of four games, Johnson averaged nearly six targets a game and in Week 13 he tied a season high of five catches with a season high of 54 yards against the Cowboys on Thanksgiving. Johnson will likely see a new coaching staff in 2025, but also a new QB and hopefully an improved offense overall.
Coach Brian Daboll added the promising rookie TE Theo Johnson is also likely done for the season with a foot injury.
Related Players: Daniel Bellinger, Chris Manhertz, Greg Dulcich
Tough break for Johnson, who had been more of an intriguing fantasy asset as of late. None of the Giants tight ends should be rostered for now, though Dulcich is a name to keep in mind through the rest of the season.
Rookie WR Malik Nabers is questionable for Sunday.
Related Players: Wan'Dale Robinson, Darius Slayton, Theo Johnson, Tyrone Tracy
Nabers missing this weekend would put a cherry on top of a wild week for the Giants. Tommy DeVito would operate with Robinson as his WR1, which makes him a volume-based target, particularly in PPR leagues, along with Tracy taking more underneath opportunities.
A separate report *did* mention that Nabers plans to play despite the designation, so don't panic quite yet.
Malik Nabers is out Sunday, per Daboll.
Related Players: Wan'Dale Robinson, Darius Slayton, Theo Johnson
Stinks to see the rookie miss more time, but he should be on track to continue his impressive showing(s) in Week 7. In the meantime, both Robinson and Slayton should be in fantasy consideration without many other options to catch the ball in New York.
