DET RB Theo Riddick - Week 11, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 vs. Oakland
With Matthew Stafford throwing for over 240 yards last week against the Pack, Theo Riddick collected three receptions for 25 yards. He also had three carries for a yard. Detroit’s offense struggled for most of the day, but with Joique Bell and Ameer Abdullah receiving the bulk of the carries, Theo’s involvement will remain as a receiver. He should only be started in PPR leagues.

DET RB Theo Riddick - Week 10, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 at Green Bay
With the Lions well behind once against two weeks ago to the Chiefs, Theo Riddick turned in another decent PPR fantasy performance. He caught six passes for 30 yards and also carried the ball five times for 17 more yards. The Lions offense is a mess and things won’t get any easier at Green Bay this week. Riddick doesn’t make for a good fantasy start.

DET RB Theo Riddick - Week 8, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 vs. Kansas City
Even though Joique Bell was back in the Detroit RB mix last week against Minnesota, Theo Riddick received six touches (three rushes and three receptions) totaling 48 yards. Expect Ameer Abdullah and Bell to receive the bulk of the carries moving forward, with Theo’s main contribution continuing to come in the passing game. Riddick should only be started in PPR leagues, or if you’re limited on options.

DET RB Theo Riddick - Week 7, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 vs. Minnesota
With Joique Bell, Zach Zenner and Ameer Abdullah all battling various injuries last week in the overtime win over Chicago, Theo Riddick finished with 28 yards on seven carries and also caught three passes for 50 yards. Coming in to the contest, Theo had just two rushing attempts on the season and the seven rushes were a career-high. Bell was inactive and Zenner and Abdullah got hurt during the game, leaving No. 25 to man the backfield. Joique and Ameer are expected back on Sunday, meaning Riddick will likely go back to his main role as a pass catcher. He had five grabs for 41 yards in the loss at Minnesota in September.

DET RB Theo Riddick - Week 6, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6 vs. Chicago
With Detroit down big to the Cardinals last Sunday, Theo Riddick had himself a good statistical outing. He finished with 10 receptions for 53 yards and his second TD of the season. As the ground attack has struggled and the Lions have found themselves playing catch-up for most of the season, Theo has caught at least five passes in four straight games and leads all NFL RBs with 30 grabs on the season. It also helped that Ameer Abdullah was benched due to fumbling problems, so Zach Zenner and Riddick manned the backfield. Chicago’s defense has been solid this year, but Riddick is serviceable as a spot start, especially in PPR leagues.

DET RB Theo Riddick - Week 5, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 5 vs. Arizona
Once again, the Lions ground attack wasn’t having any success last Monday in Seattle, which led to Matthew Stafford throwing the ball 35 times. Theo Riddick caught all five of his targets for 31 yards. His five grabs were second most on the team to Calvin Johnson's seven. Theo has 18 catches the past three games and may continue to see an increase in playing time with Joique Bell nursing an ankle injury. However, consider starting Riddick only in PPR leagues.

DET RB Theo Riddick - Week 4, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 4 – Theo Riddick at Seattle
With the ground game not having any success, Matthew Stafford aired it out 45 times in the loss to the Broncos last week. Theo Riddick was the beneficiary of the unbalanced attack, as he was second on the team with 10 targets and tied Calvin Johnson with a Lions-high eight receptions (for 66 yards). Theo has just one rushing attempt this season, but has caught 15 passes for 144 yards. Look for the running game to again struggle in Seattle on Monday night, which could lead to more targets for Riddick. However, he doesn’t make for a good fantasy start.
