DET WR Tim Patrick - Week 8 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 vs.Tennessee Titans
It's hard to pinpoint who exactly will fill the WR2 role while Jameson Williams is sidelined, but working off of Dan Campbell coachspeak, it's easy to assume Tim Patrick is the answer. He doesn't possess Williams' physical gifts, but a sharp uptick in targets is definitely in the cards. If this were a Bye-heavy week, he'd be in deep-league Flex consideration, but you shouldn't have to dig this deep in Week 8.

DEN WR Tim Patrick - Week 17 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 16 at Chargers

If you're still reading this, I appreciate you for a great season and it most likely means you're in the championship, so congrats to you on making it this far.

This Denver Broncos passing offense has thrown for two touchdowns since Jerry Jeudy came back in Week 8, but Tim Patrick has caught both of them. I would recommend playing him, but 4for4 has him ranked all the way down at 73 for the final week of the fantasy season. You shouldn't be playing Tim Patrick anywhere, even with a good matchup on the horizon.

Update- Tim Patrick was put on Covid/ IR list so he is out for Sundays game against the Los Angeles Chargers.

DEN WR Tim Patrick - Week 16 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 16 at Raiders

Even with a touchdown last week, Tim Patrick only had 42 yards, and in the past five games, he's only gained 112 yards. The Denver Broncos have only passed for more than 200 yards twice in the past five games. Patrick is currently projected with 38 receiving yards. You should only play Patrick if you're chasing a touchdown.

DEN WR Tim Patrick - Week 15 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 15 vs Bengals

Tim Patrick has been a victim of the Denver Broncos passing game and it's hurting his fantasy production. Since he posted 18.5 PPR points in Week 9, he has since put up totals of 4.4, 4.6, 1.9, and 4.1. We really shouldn't have any faith in the Denver Broncos passing game this week.

DEN WR Tim Patrick - Week 14 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 14 vs Lions

You have to be really desperate to consider starting Tim Patrick. In his last five games, he's averaging 4.4 targets a game for 40 yards a game, and he's scored 1 touchdown. I know you see the Detroit Lions on the schedule and think it'll be a big game, but if we took a look at our adjusted fantasy points allowed tool, the Lions have actually been about an average pass defense when giving up points to the WR position.

DEN WR Tim Patrick - Week 13 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 13 at Chiefs

The Denver Broncos pass game has been one to avoid this season, and it'll most likely be more of the same this week against a Kansas City Chiefs pass defense that has woken up as of late. In the five games that Jerry Jeudy has played this year with Courtland Sutton and Tim Patrick, only Jeudy has topped six targets, but the good news is that Patrick is the only WR who has caught a touchdown, so if you're chasing a Denver WR, Patrick is a touchdown-dependent WR, since Jeudy is seeing most of the targets. Patrick has also seen 21 targets in the five games that Jeudy has been active, so as I said earlier, you might be better off chasing other passing games since this one has a lot left to be desired.

DEN WR Tim Patrick - Week 12 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 vs Chargers

Tim Patrick has seen the second-most targets since Jerry Jeudy has returned to the lineup, the only problem is he hasn’t seen that many AirYards with only 14 receiving yards on six targets last week. Patrick could again come through this week The Broncos are a three-point underdog which could help Patrick’s chances since the Broncos will be underdogs forced to pass, but it’s best to look for another option this week.
