DEN WR Tim Patrick - Week 5 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 5 at New England Patriots
In the win over the Jets last Thursday Tim Patrick turned in his best performance in his three seasons as a pro. The former undrafted player posted six receptions for 113 yards and his second score in as many weeks. QB Brett Rypien went Patrick’s way a team-most seven times, leading to his first career game over the century mark. With rookie Jerry Jeudy as Denver's other starting receiver, look for Patrick to continue to be a big part of the Denver passing game. Consider him a WR3/flex start on the road Monday.

DEN WR Tim Patrick - Week 3 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 3 vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
With Courtland Sutton out for the season, Tim Patrick is now the veteran WR on the Broncos. In Pittsburgh last Sunday he saw five looks, leading to two grabs for 24 yards. With Jeff Driskel under center for the next few weeks for Denver, expect him to spread the ball around. There have been a lot of injuries already this season, so you may be thin on options, but Patrick is at best a WR3/flex start.

DEN WR Tim Patrick - Week 17 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 17 vs. Oakland Raiders
Even though Drew Lock passed for fewer than 200 yards versus the Lions last week, Tim Patrick finished with a season-most five receptions for 48 yards. It was Desean Hamilton who caught Lock’s lone TD toss and Patrick hasn’t found paydirt in ’19. Even though the Broncos will be at home Patrick doesn’t make for a good fantasy start on Sunday,

DEN WR Tim Patrick - Week 16 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 16 vs. Detroit Lions
In the loss in the snow against the Chiefs last week, Drew Lock threw for just over 200 yards, with Tim Patrick receiving seven targets resulting in three catches for 26 yards. Since his return from IR, Patrick has posted 10 receptions for 156 yards and no TDs in five games. Even though the Lions have been terrible versus the pass, Patrick is a risky fantasy option.

DEN WR Tim Patrick - Week 15 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 15 at Kansas City Chiefs
Drew Lock connected with 10 different pass catchers last week at Houston, with Tim Patrick turning three targets into two receptions for 50 yards. Despite being Denver’s No. 2 WR, in the past three weeks, Patrick has totaled only three catches. Lock may need to air it out in what could be a high-scoring affair at Kansas City on Sunday, but Patrick is no more than a WR3/flex play.

DEN WR Tim Patrick - Week 14 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 14 at Houston Texans
Drew Lock got his first professional start at QB last week versus the Chargers. While Courtland Sutton had a big game with two TDs, Tim Patrick saw just two targets from the rookie, without a reception. In the past two weeks, Patrick has registered just a three-yard catch. Lock will get his first road experience on Sunday at Houston, which could result in a long afternoon. There is no reason for Patrick to be in your starting lineup, even against a poor Texans pass defense.

DEN WR Tim Patrick - Week 13 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 13 vs. Los Angeles Chargers
In his first full game of the season two weeks ago Tim Patrick recorded four grabs for 77 yards but at Buffalo last Sunday he was held to just a three-yard catch. The Denver offense couldn’t get going all game, totaling only 134 yards. The Chargers have the fourth-best defense versus the pass so Patrick is no more than a WR3/flex play, especially with Drew Lock likely at QB.
