NO RB Tony Jones - Week 3 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 3 at Green Bay Packers

Tony Jones became the goal-line back for the Saints and turned that into two touchdowns last week against the Panthers. This week, he gets the Packers and the Saints could get rookie Kendre Miller available for the first time this season. Jones and Miller could at least split the work in their final game as the top pairing before Alvin Kamara returns from suspension and Jamaal Williams eventually returns as well. Jones is a flex spot at best as you're hoping he gets those goal-line touchdowns again.

SEA RB Tony Jones - Week 14 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 14 vs. Carolina Panthers

The injury bug struck the Seahawks' backfield once again, leaving former Saint Tony Jones as the top healthy running back. He rushed 7 times for 14 yards and caught 2 passes for 18 yards last week against the Rams. The reality is Seattle is likely to use a committee and there are a number of backs that could see action for Seattle. But as one of the few healthy backs for Seattle, Jones gets the slight edge for Week 14 against the Panthers if you have to choose a Seahawks running back.

NO RB Tony Jones - Week 14 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 14 vs Jets

Tony Jones should roll as the No. 2 back for the Saints this week with Mark Ingram likely out due to Covid and Alvin Kamara likely back in the lineup. He did see 16 carries two weeks ago against the Bills, so the Saints are willing to give him the football. He's a bit of a risk but has a little bit of upside as a flex in a favorable matchup against the Jets.

NO RB Tony Jones - Week 12 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 vs Bills

Tony Jones has been seeing light work this season but with Alvin Kamara and Mark Ingram banged up, there's a chance Jones sees more work Thursday against the Bills. It will be interesting to watch how the Saints work their running backs and how Buffalo responds to being shredded by Jonathan Taylor. But don't let Jones' lack of numbers fool you, he's a good back and can run well. He's a sneaky play, especially if Ingram can't go. Certainly intrigued by him.

NO RB Tony Jones - Week 4 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 4 vs Giants

After seeing 12 touches in Week 1, Tony Jones has seen seven total touches in Weeks 2 and 3. Only seeing action in about a quarter of the Saints' total snaps to this point, Jones is a deep, deep play against the Giants, just cracking our top 50 RBs for the week.

NO RB Tony Jones - Week 2 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 2 at Panthers

Tony Jones took over the Latavius Murray role and got off to a good start. He saw 11 carries and a catch in Week 1, totaling 53 yards. That's likely the expectation going forward for Jones, giving him deeper league potential and still making him one of the top handcuffs if you can get him.
