Scouting report

DAL RB Tony Pollard - Week 16 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 16 vs. Philadelphia Eagles
Failing to find the end zone, fantasy mangers may have felt let down by Tony Pollard. However, he still had a rather solid day. Logging 75 rushing yards on a team high, 19 attempts, he also added 31 yards through the air on four receptions.

While it's still a pretty even split among touches between him and Ezekiel Elliott, Pollard has been the more explosive big play back. Facing a stingy Philadelphia passing defense, Dallas may elect to keep it on the ground more. This would be welcoming news for Pollard as Philadelphia has been susceptible to the run as of late. Start Pollard as a high end RB2 with upside.

DAL RB Tony Pollard - Week 15 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 13 at Jacksonville Jaguars
The gift that keeps on giving. That is exactly what Tony Pollard is. Rushing for 42 yards and a score on 10 attempts, he also added another 20 yards and a score in the receiving game.

Whether it is through the air or on the ground, Pollard continues to get it done. Going up against a Jacksonville defense that just got shredded by Derrick Henry for 121 yards, Pollard is set to have another huge week. Plug him into your lineup as an RB1.

DAL RB Tony Pollard - Week 14 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 13 vs. Houston Texans
Since Ezekiel Elliott's injury, Tony Pollard has been making play after play. Dallas took note because Pollard is getting as many valuable touches as Elliott even when healthy. Putting up 91 yards and two touchdowns on 12 attempts, he also added two catches for 15 yards.

Plug Pollard in your lineup as an RB1 this week as he faces a Houston run defense that ranks 32nd in rushing yards allowed and 28th in rushing touchdowns allowed. I expect another big week for Pollard.

DAL RB Tony Pollard - Week 13 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 13 vs. Indianapolis Colts
Finally cooling off from his scorching hot streak, Tony Pollard came back down to Earth. Rushing the ball 18 times for just 60 yards, he was less efficient than Ezekiel Elliott. Furthermore, Pollard was pretty much a nonfactor in the passing game, catching just two passes for one yard.

Pollard has shown us just how explosive he can be. It is these home run shots that keep him in the RB1 conversation and in our lineups. Expect a bounce back week from Pollard and start him as a high-end RB2 with RB1 upside.

DAL RB Tony Pollard - Week 12 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 vs. New York Giants
Tony Pollard gets it done yet again. I am officially sold. Putting up 80 rushing yards on 15 attempts and adding in six receptions for 109 yards and two scores, Pollard is now the guy for this Dallas offense.

Ride the hot hand this week and confidently start Pollard as an RB1. While Ezekiel Elliott will still get his touches and goal line work, Pollard has been better in every facet of the game.

DAL RB Tony Pollard - Week 11 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 at Minnesota Vikings
Tony Pollard gets it done again. Erupting for 115 yards and score on 22 attempts, while adding in three catches for 13 yards, Pollard has been unstoppable as of late. Whether or not Ezekiel Elliott returns, I have to believe Pollard will remain a big piece of this offense.

While the Minnesota run defense is top tier, they are not that bad. With that said, I expect this game to be high scoring with plenty of scoring opportunities. Look for Pollard to keep his touchdown streak going. If no Elliott, Pollard is an RB1.

DAL RB Tony Pollard - Week 10 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 at Green Bay Packers
The last time we saw Tony Pollard it was as the lead back in a backfield that was without Ezekiel Elliott. Pollard erupted for 131 rushing yards and three touchdowns. Single handedly winning fantasy managers their matchups, could this be the start of a changing of the guard in Dallas?

I think we will have a more clear picture this week. The Green Bay defense is among one of the worst at stopping the run. Ranked 26th in rushing yards allowed, Dallas may elect to do their damage on the ground. Even with a healthy Elliott I am confidently starting Pollard as an RB2 with RB1 upside.
