Cardinals’ QB Colt McCoy has cleared concussion protocol and is expected to start Sunday vs. the Falcons.

Fantasy Impact: 

McCoy should be an upgrade over McSorley but should only be an option in superflex leagues. McSorley only connected with DeAndre Hopkins one time for four yards in Week 16, so perhaps the best news to come from this move is Hopkins should fantasy relevant again for fantasy finals this week. McSorley did hit Marquise Brown three times for 57 yards while finishing 24-for-45 for 217 yards and an interception.

Cardinals have ruled out quarterback Colt McCoy vs. the Bucs due to his concussion.

Fantasy Impact: 

McSorley saw action last week coming in for McCoy but it was a struggle. McSorley threw two picks and was just 7-for-15 for 95 yards. He'll have more time to prepare, but other than deeper leagues or superflex leagues he probably isn't a fantasy option in what could be a tough matchup against the Bucs. It's a downgrade for WR DeAndre Hopkins and Marquise Brown as well.

The Cardinals have Trace McSorley in at quarterback after Colt McCoy left with a hamstring injury.

Fantasy Impact: 

McCoy suffered a hamstring injury but was able to walk off on his own power. The Cardinals are now down to their third quarterback after Kyler Murray was ruled inactive with a hamstring injury of his own. Eno Benjamin is the emergency quarterback for Arizona.
