CIN WR Tyler Boyd - Week 17 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 17 at Kansas City Chiefs
Tyler Boyd had five receptions for 59 yards last Saturday as he took on the role of the Bengals No. 2 receiver. That's because of the absence of Ja'Marr Chase who should be out again this week.

Even though Boyd will be on the field a lot, it's a tough matchup against the Chiefs who are ranked third in aFPA to wide receivers. Keep him on the bench for Week 17 as there is some concern now about QB Jake Browning's play.

CIN WR Tyler Boyd - Week 16 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 16 at Pittsburgh Steelers
Tyler Boyd has two receptions for 53 yards last week and with Ja'Marr Chase out for Week 16, he will move up to the No. 2 wide receiver for the Bengals. Boyd had three catches for 23 yards against the Steelers earlier this season.

Pittsburgh is ranked sixth in aFPA to wide receivers although they do have some players out from the secondary. Keep Boyd on the bench for this AFC North matchup which usually leans towards the defenses.

CIN WR Tyler Boyd - Week 14 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 14 vs. Indianapolis Colts
Tyler Boyd will return to his third receiver role. He really didn't do too much with Tee Higgins out and even though he will be on the field a good amount, it won't be enough to warrant a fantasy start. Keep Boyd on the bench for Week 14.

CIN WR Tyler Boyd - Week 13 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 13 at Jacksonville Jaguars
Tyler Boyd had three receptions for 23 yards last Sunday and those might be the numbers we see weekly with Jake Browning in for Joe Burrow at quarterback. Boyd remains the No. 2 receiver, but all of the skill players for the Bengals have taken a blow in fantasy rankings.

Boyd has a good matchup against Jacksonville this week. However, the offense for Cincinnati will probably struggle the rest of the season and that reflects poorly on Boyd. Keep him on the bench for Week 13.

CIN WR Tyler Boyd - Week 11 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 at Baltimore Ravens
With Tee Higgins out, Tyler Boyd led the Bengals with 12 targets last week which produced eight receptions for 117 yards. Boyd's numbers have been decent for a third receiver, but his stock rose being elevated to Cincy's No. 2.

Boyd faces the Ravens who are ranked seventh in aFPA to wide receivers. Baltimore's defense is tough and this game will be at Baltimore and on a short week. In the last four games against the Ravens, Boyd's best game was only 52 yards.

Boyd is a borderline starter this week as a WR3 or Flex. We don't like the matchup so if you have another option, you might want to go with it.

CIN WR Tyler Boyd - Week 10 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 vs. Houston Texans
Tyler Boyd had three catches for 56 yards last week and has been a solid low-end fantasy receiver so far this season. His stock rises this week as Tee Higgins is most likely out and Ja'Marr Chase is also struggling with a back issue.

It's not an easy matchup this week for Bengals receivers as Houston is ranked 10th in aFPA to wide receivers. But the Cincy offense has been on fire in recent weeks as QB Joe Burrow appears to be healthy and playing like his old self.

Start Boyd as a WR3 or Flex for Week 10. But if Chase doesn't play, his ceiling goes even higher for this game.

CIN WR Tyler Boyd - Week 9 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 vs. Buffalo Bills
Tyler Boyd had a touchdown for the second straight game, but he ended up with only three catches. He has games where he surprises everyone, but the biggest issue is he has two pretty good receivers ahead of him.

Even though we expect a shootout this week against Buffalo, Boyd should remain on the bench for Week 9.
