Fantasy Upside
Tyler Conklin has had 87 targets in each of the last two seasons including as the starter in New York last year. He has been in the lineup consistently and is a solid NFL tight end. The Jets trust he can get the job done so he should be involved with the passing game at times. And with Aaron Rodgers at quarterback, Conklin could be better than expected.
Fantasy Downside
Conklin has never reached the 600-yard receiving mark in a season and his career-high for touchdowns is three. He will be down the list when it comes to Rodgers' options.
2023 Bottom Line
Conklin could surprise some people as he has been a solid backup fantasy tight end the past two seasons, but we are leaning towards him being an afterthought. He is clearly depth and probably not worth a roster spot unless you have deep rosters.
