Tyler Eifert

Tight end Tyler Eifert was knocked out of the game during the Bengals' opening drive and placed under the concussion protocol after taking a hard hit to the head from Steelers defender Mike Mitchell, who was flagged for hitting a defenseless receiver.

The big blow to the Bengals today was losing QB Andy Dalton but Eifert's presence in the red zone will be tough to overcome as well. AJ McCarron will play at least in Week 15 and could certainly use a guy like Eifert. Eifert, of course, will have to clear protocol first and his status is up in the air for Week 15.
