Week 2 at New England Patriots
Tyler Lockett was the clubhouse leader among the Seahawks receivers in Week 1, reeling in six of his seven targets for 77 scoreless yards. He more than doubled the combined output of his wide receiver comrades D.K. Metcalf and Jaxon Smith-Njigba on his way to 10.7 Half PPR points, good for WR25 in that format.
A commitment to low passing volume will hurt Lockett and the other members of this receiving corps, even in games where the matchup appears to suit them, like this one against the Patriots. The uncertainty around opportunity makes it hard to trust any of these pass catchers, and that's why Lockett has to be viewed as a WR4 this week. Unless he has earned a much bigger piece of the pie, the pie doesn't look big enough to comfortably satiate the appetites of all with interest in this receiving corps.
