SEA WR Tyler Lockett - Week 12 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 vs Arizona Cardinals

Tyler Lockett hasn’t pulled up any trees in fantasy football lately and averages a mere 6.0 Half-PPR points per game over the last four weeks. Lockett is down at WR52 in points per game. His low output, coupled with a clash with a Cardinals side that ranks 11th in aFPA to wide receivers, makes it hard to trust him as anything more than a desperation WR4.

SEA WR Tyler Lockett - Week 11 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 at San Francisco 49ers

Tyler Lockett is the WR48 in Half-PPR points per game this season with 8.3. He has shown few signs of exploding back into fantasy relevance in the first nine weeks of his season, and this matchup doesn’t look like one that will help him either. The 49ers rank sixth in aFPA to wide receivers, and this on top of the return of D.K. Metcalf makes Lockett tough to trust as anything more than a volatile WR4.

SEA WR Tyler Lockett - Week 9 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 vs Los Angeles Rams

Tyler Lockett was held to a mere 1.4 Half-PPR points in Week 8, a tally exceeded by 99 other wide receivers. It was a blip, but Lockett is not the fantasy force he was once and averages just 7.6 points per game at WR55. He looks like a WR4/5 option against a Rams side that ranks ninth in aFPA to wide receivers this season.

SEA WR Tyler Lockett - Week 8 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 vs Buffalo Bills

Tyler Lockett is the WR45 in Half-PPR points per game this season. But the likely absence of D.K. Metcalf this week should see him receive a bump in opportunities. But with the Bills ranking 12th in aFPA to wide receivers, we must be realistic, and accept that low-end WR2 numbers from Lockett might be the best we can hope for.

SEA WR Tyler Lockett - Week 7 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 at Atlanta Falcons

Tyler Lockett's managers were no doubt very pleased with his Week 6 showing, scoring 14.5 Half-PPR points on his way to WR18 for the week. This was a far cry from his seasonal points-per-game rank of WR43.

The Falcons do not present a formidable matchup for Lockett, ranking 17th in aFPA to wide receivers in 2024. But unless he starts to command a larger role in the offense, it’s hard to confidently project him as anything above a low-end WR3 option moving forward.

SEA WR Tyler Lockett - Week 6 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6 vs San Francisco 49ers/strong>

Tyler Lockett is averaging 4.4 grabs per game this season and his 68.8 receiving yards per contest are his second most in the last four seasons. But his failure to find the endzone regularly (or even once) has severely capped his fantasy ceiling, and with a mere 7.7 Half-PPR points per game, he's currently the WR57 in 2024.

Lockett should see his usual workload in Week 6 against a 49ers team that ranks 14th in aFPA to wide receivers. But his usual workload is not getting it done in fantasy terms, so if you need more than a WR4 output from Lockett in Week 6 you are likely to be disappointed.

SEA WR Tyler Lockett - Week 5 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 5 vs. New York Giants/strong>

Tyler Lockett has settled into his role as the third option in the Seahawks' passing game, strongly evidenced by his seeing nine targets last week to D.K. Metcalf and Jaxon Smith-Njigba's 12. Lockett caught five of his looks for 61 yards and finished with 8.6 Half PPR points, a slight bump to his season average of 7.2 per game.

Lockett remains a relatively unexciting WR4 in his current role and without the trips to the endzone he used to enjoy making. Even playing the Giants, who rank 111th in aFPA to wide receivers, we should not be expecting too much fantasy juice this week.
