Scouting report

SEA WR Tyler Lockett - Week 9 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 vs Tampa Bay
Tyler Lockett recorded his second 100+ receiving yard game of the season which doesn't seem like a lot for the Seahawks No. 1 wide receiver. And after catching 10 and 11 balls in Weeks 2 and 3, Lockett remains around five or six catches per game.

There is a very good chance Lockett could eclipse the 100-yard mark again as he faces a Tampa defense that is ranked 32nd in aFPA to wide receivers. If Lockett gets the targets, he should be successful.

We expect that to happen in Week 9. Start Lockett in all leagues and formats as solid WR1 against the Bucs.

SEA WR Tyler Lockett - Week 8 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 at Atlanta
After two strong weeks early in the season, Tyler Lockett has been consistent with four or five catches per game. He only has one 100+ receiving yard game this season although he has four touchdowns including one last week.

Lockett will face the Falcons who are 28th in aFPA to wide receivers. This could be a very big game for the Seattle passing game so Lockett should be a beneficiary. Start Lockett in all leagues and formats as a solid WR1 for Week 8.

SEA WR Tyler Lockett - Week 7 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 vs Baltimore
Tyler Lockett continues to put up some consistent numbers but not WR1 numbers each week. Last Sunday, he had five receptions for 75 yards. One noticeable stat is Lockett only has three touchdown so far after scoring 10 last season.

Lockett will face the Ravens who are 24th in aFPA to wide receivers. With a very favorable matchup, Lockett is due to put up a big receiving day and that could come this week.

Start Lockett in all leagues and formats as a solid WR1. Owners should hope he starts getting in the end zone more to maximize his value as a No. 1 receiver because he has been limited to two big games so far this season.

SEA WR Tyler Lockett - Week 6 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6 at Cleveland
Tyler Lockett has had identical numbers the past two games - four catches for 51 yards. The only difference this past week was he scored a touchdown. The numbers are exactly what fantasy owners were expecting from Lockett who is the Seahawks No. 1 receiver.

Seattle faces the Browns who are 17th in aFPA to wide receivers. QB Russell Wilson has been throwing touchdown passes, four last week, so that has helped the value of the Seahawks receivers.

Lockett rates a low-end WR1 despite the fact his numbers haven't been great lately. He is still the No. 1 target in the passing game so we expect some good numbers against Cleveland.

SEA WR Tyler Lockett - Week 5 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 5 vs Los Angeles Rams
It was a quiet Sunday for the Seahawks passing game. Tyler Lockett only had four receptions for 51 yards while being targeted only on those four passes. Seattle relied on the running game more and QB Russell Wilson had a conservative day.

Lockett had eight catches for 165 yards and two touchdowns in the two meetings with the Rams last season. Los Angeles is ranked 13th in aFPA to wide receivers although they gave up 55 points to Tampa Bay last week. We expect the passing game to have more impact on this Thursday's game.

Lockett ranks a low-end WR1 for Week 5 in standard leagues, but much higher in PPR leagues. Expect him to put up some good numbers in prime time.

SEA WR Tyler Lockett - Week 4 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 4 at Arizona
Tyler Lockett exploded last Sunday catching 11 passes for 154 yards and a touchdown. He now has 21 catches over the last two games and is starting to look like the No. 1 receiver many fantasy owners were hoping for when he was drafted. Lockett took advantage of a good matchup last week and will have a favorable one this week against the Cardinals who are 22nd in aFPA to wide receivers.

Lockett and QB Russell Wilson are on the same page and that is dangerous for opposing defenses. Start Lcckett in all leagues and formats as a top 5 fantasy wide receiver for Week 4.

SEA WR Tyler Lockett - Week 3 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 3 vs New Orleans
After being targeted only twice in Week 1, Tyler Lockett saw the ball come his way 12 times in Week 2 which produced 10 catches for 79 yards. He did not reach the end zone, but it is encouraging to see him get the ball thrown to him as we expected.

Lockett has a nice matchup Week 3 facing the Saints who were 25th in aFPA to wide receivers last year. New Orleans is without Drew Brees which means the offense will struggle. This will lead to more offensive plays for the Seahawks which is good for the skill player's fantasy value.

Even with the favorable matchup. we are ranking Lockett as a high-end WR2 for Week 3. Expect the numbers to be somewhere in between Week 1 and Week 2.
