NYG RB Tyrone Tracy - Week 10 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 at Carolina Panthers

The Panthers have allowed two-thirds of their opposing running backs to crack 20 PPR Points. They've let up eight scores on the ground.

Tyrone Tracy gets the call against the Carolina defense and comes into the week as our RB14. He should be in all lineups as a solid RB2.

NYG RB Tyrone Tracy - Week 9 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 vs Washington Commanders

Tyrone Tracy had a 22 touch effort in Week 8. The issue with his usage is that he isn't involved much in the passing game. Tracy only has one game this season with more than three targets.

He did rush the ball well last week, and found the end zone, so his fantasy day looks great. His floor is questionable, though, thanks in large part to the issues with his usage. Tracy is our RB25 so he's firmly in the flex conversation again this week but duds are always possible with this usage profile.

NYG RB Tyrone Tracy - Week 8 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 vs Pittsburgh Steelers

Tyrone Trace is our RB31 this week. Since his breakout performance in Seattle, he's cooled off a bit. Tracy put up 100 yards from scrimmage two weeks ago, but only managed 32 yards last weekend.

Tracy is a flex candidate again this week but hopefully his opportunities get back in the 18-25 range, rather than the nine he saw last week.

NYG RB Tyrone Tracy - Week 7 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 vs Philadelphia Eagles

Tyrone Tracy has been the surprise of the season for this Giants squad that lost Saquon Barkley in the offseason.

The Eagles have allowed a double-digit performance from an opposing running back in all but one week this year and two backs have cracked 15 PPR Points. Tracy comes in as our RB14 this week and is a must-start.

NYG RB Tyrone Tracy - Week 6 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6 vs Cincinatti Bengals

After tallying 12 carries for 29 yards across all of September, Tyrone Tracy turned 18 carries into 129 yards against Seattle to kick off October. That performance vaulted Tracy up to RB32 heading into this week. He sits five spots above teammate Devin Singletary after his breakout performance.

NYG RB Tyrone Tracy - 2024 Fantasy Football Outlook

Fantasy Upside

Tyrone Tracy is our RB46 at the moment, being drafted in the 17th round in most drafts. The upside case for him as to sneak into the back-end of the RB3s and become a flex option for fantasy managers. A lot has to go right for that to come true, though. Theoretically, the Giants' offense would have to be a pleasant surprise and Tracy would have to carve out more than just a 3rd down role behind Devin Singletary.

Fantasy Downside

The downside for Tracy is that he doesn't carve out even a portion of the 3rd down work and Singletary runs away with the workload. That would leave Tracy on the waivers with not much more than a special teams role for the Giants.

2024 Bottom Line

It's a very real possibility that Tracy doesn't wind up with much fantasy value. Drafting him won't cost much but fantasy managers should be prepared to move on from him if he doesn't show signs of life quickly.
