Scouting report

CHI QB Tyson Bagent - Week 10 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 vs. Carolina Panthers

Tyson Bagent is coming off a weird game vs. the Saints. He was productive with 220 passing yards, two touchdowns and 70 rushing yards. But he also had three interceptions and a lost fumble. It's not clear if Bagent will continue to start in Week 10 as Justin Fields (thumb) has a chance to return. But if Bagent does play, we wouldn't trust him. He should be viewed as a bottom five option at QB in Week 10 in a tough matchup vs. the Panthers (5th aFPA).

CHI QB Tyson Bagent - Week 9 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 at New Orleans Saints

Despite a favorable matchup last week, Tyson Bagent didn't put up a lot of fantasy production. He finished with 232 yards with no touchdowns and two interceptions as a passer. He did manage to score a touchdown on the ground, though. Justin Fields still isn't practicing with his thumb injury, so we're expecting Bagent to suit up again in Week 9. He'll face a fairly tough Saints defense (11th aFPA) where he'll likely put up little production once again. Bagent is a bottom five option at QB in Week 9.

CHI QB Tyson Bagent - Week 8 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 at Los Angeles Chargers

Tyson Bagent was good in real life in his first NFL start, but it didn't equate to much in fantasy. The undrafted rookie finished with 162 pass yards, one touchdown, no turnovers and 24 rush yards last week. Bagent is expected to start again this week as Justin Fields is dealing with a dislocated thumb in his throwing hand. Bagent draws a favorable matchup against the Chargers who are 32nd in aFPA to QBs. The matchup may make Bagent sound enticing, but there are plenty of better options at QB this week. Bagent is a bottom five option at his position in Week 8.

CHI QB Tyson Bagent - Week 7 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 vs. Las Vegas Raiders

Undrafted rookie quarterback Tyson Bagent filled in for Justin Fields last week after Fields suffered a dislocated thumb on his throwing hand. Bagent didn't look very good, throwing for 84 yards on 14 attempts with no touchdowns, an interception and a fumble. Bagent showed some promise during the preseason, but this is the regular season we're talking about. Bye weeks and injuries will leave a lot of owners looking for a QB this week, but Bagent isn't it. There should be much better options available. He doesn't even get that great of a matchup as the Raiders are 11th in aFPA QBs.
