TEN QB Will Levis - Week 10 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 at Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Will Levis came back to earth last week in a loss to the Steelers after throwing four touchdown passes in his debut against the Falcons in Week 8. The real Levis is probably somewhere in between the two performances. Despite zero touchdowns and a pick in the Pittsburgh loss, Levis looked pretty solid. He finished with 262 passing yards and hung in the pocket despite getting sacked four times. It looked like a veteran defense taking advantage of a rookie’s second start.

This week, Levis faces a vulnerable Tampa Bay defense that ranks 24th in aFPA to opposing quarterbacks this season. The Buccaneers also just got absolutely torched by C.J. Stroud and the Texans in what could’ve been the best game of the season. Don’t expect four touchdown passes or the production we saw from Stroud last week, but look for a rebound performance that puts Levis in solid streaming territory. We have him ranked as a quality QB2 option this week.

TEN QB Will Levis - Week 9 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 at Pittsburgh Steelers
Well what have we here? There wasn't much hype for Will Levis going into his NFL regular season debut, but he dazzled on Sunday by lighting up a solid Falcons defense for 238 yards and four touchdowns on 29 pass attempts. Levis showed instant chemistry with DeAndre Hopkins, connecting with the veteran receiver for 128 yards and three touchdowns on six targets. Levis displayed good accuracy and arm strength, and also demonstrated a willingness to throw downfield that has been sorely lacking in Tennessee the last two seasons. Ryan Tannehill is still recovering from his ankle issue, which lines Levis up for another start on Thursday against a Pittsburgh defense that has been mediocre against opposing passing games this year. If Levis shows out again on Thursday, it will be exceedingly difficult for the Titans to turn back to Tannehill and could boost the prospects of the Tennessee skill players in fantasy. Levis is still only a QB2 in terms of his own fantasy projections, but his debut was exciting and makes Thursday's game much more fun.
