Fantasy Upside
Zac Stacy has had some success in the NFL. He rushed for 973 yards his rookie season along with 8 touchdowns. He also was able to bring a power game to the Rams offense with his 5'9, 220 pound frame. Now with the Jets, Stacy has a good chance to be the No. 2 back in the New York and should be able to take advantage of that opportunity.
Fantasy Downside
Stacy lost his starting job last season in St. Louis. He only had 76 carries and was the Rams third-string running back by the end of the season. The biggest issue with him is he is not a big-play type back as the breakaway speed just isn't there.
Bottom Line
Stacy ranks 57th in our running back rankings. Chris Ivory will most likely win the job out of camp and that means Stacy will have to win the backup job over Stevan Ridley to get touches. We think he will, but the touches won't be enough to make him a fantasy factor in standard leagues.
