NYJ RB Zonovan Knight - Week 17 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 17 at Seattle Seahawks
After four straight games with double-digit carries, Zonovan Knight only had six last week for negative 2 yards. It was a bad overall for the Jets offense and Knight definitely was part of that fantasy disaster. Don't give up him quite yet as he is still the No. 1 running back for the Jets for now.

Knight faces the Seahawks who are ranked 30th in aFPA to running backs. This is a great opportunity for New York and Knight to bounce back with a very favorable matchup against a poor run defense.

Start Knight as a low-end RB2 for Week 17. We expect him to get back to double-digit rushing attempts which should produce good yardage.

NYJ RB Zonovan Knight - Week 16 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 16 vs. Jacksonville Jaguars
Zonovan Knight's carries dropped a little last week because the Jets had trouble running the football. He ended up with 23 total yards and 1.8 yards per carry after getting pretty impressive numbers in the prior three weeks. He is still the No. 1 back on the depth chart although Michael Carter did play against Detroit.

The Jaguars are up next and are ranked 14th in aFPA to running backs. Knight should have similar touches as last week so you hope with this matchup, his production will go back up.

Knight still has some fantasy value but only has an RB3 or Flex ranking for Week 16. The Jets will try to get back to the run and he will get those opportunities.

NYJ RB Zonovan Knight - Week 15 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 15 vs. Detroit Lions
Zonovan Knight continues to be the No. 1 running back for the Jets as he had his third straight game with double-digit carries. He ended up with 77 total yards and his first touchdown of the season. However, Michael Carter is scheduled to return from injury.

Knight faces the Lions who are ranked 1st in aFPA to running backs. That ranking might be misleading as teams have been able to throw with ease against Detroit's pass defense.

Start Knight as a low-end RB2 for Week 15. This might be risky if Carter is thrown on the field more than we expect, but Knight should still get 15+ touches.

NYJ RB Zonovan Knight - Week 14 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 14 at Buffalo Bills
Zonovan Knight has performed well when he has gotten the playing time. Over the last two weeks, he has carried the ball 29 times for 159 yards. He also has added eight receptions for 62 yards. The only thing missing is a touchdown.

Knight faces the Bills who are ranked 17th in aFPA to running backs. He did not play in the first meeting against Buffalo. There is a good chance starting running back Michael Carter could return, although we expect Knight to still get his touches.

Start Knight as an RB2 for Week 14. Even with Carter back, we expect Knight to be the primary ball carrier after two successful games.

NYJ RB Zonovan Knight - Week 13 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 13 at Minnesota Vikings
The Jets are now down their top two running backs so next man up is Zonovan Knight. Fresh off the practice squad, Knight had 14 carries for 69 yards. It is expected he will share time with Ty Johnson.

Knight will face the Vikings who are ranked 18th in aFPA to running backs. He will be a popular waiver wire pickup this week and should get enough touches to give him some fantasy value on Sunday.

Start Knight as a low-end RB3 or Flex for Week 13. There are a lot of questions about who will get the ball but if New York follows the plan from last week, it is a good chance it will be Knight.
