The Raiders have placed DE Maxx Crosby and RB Sincere McCormick on injured reserve, ending their seasons.

Related Players: Ameer Abdullah, Alexander Mattison

Fantasy Impact:

Abdullah came in and operated as the RB1 after McCormick went down in Week 15, earning 10 opportunities, but only a 3-8-0 stat line on the ground. This should be a fairly cut-and-dry backfield, with Mattison taking a lot of the early-down work and the veteran Abdullah gobbling up the third-down work. Regardless, they should both be stay-aways in pivotal Week 16 playoff matchups.

Ameer Abdullah had every opportunity to take control of this backfield and hasn't been up to the task. He was even with Sincere McCormick in touches last week and was outproduced on 12 touches.

He's in the flex conversation with a half-dozen teams on bye but his tenous grasp on the backfield seems to be loosening.
