Scouting report

MIN WR Jordan Addison - Week 11 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 at Tennessee Titans

It's been a quiet stretch recently for Jordan Addison. He has three straight games with less than 50 yards and nine catches (13 targets) in that time. And with T.J. Hockenson just about fully back in the mix, Addison could take a backseat to him in the pecking order. The Titans have been very solid against the pass so the ceiling, and maybe even the floor, are pretty low for Addison. He's a very deep option.

MIN WR Jordan Addison - Week 10 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 at Jacksonville Jaguars

Jordan Addison had more than three catches in a game for the first time this season and scored his first touchdown since Week 4. The hope for Adidson is the passing game continues to expand now that T.J. Hockenson is back in the mix. That said, once Hockenson is back in full gear, Addison may end up as the third option in the passing game. The good news is he has a favorable matchup this week against the Jaguars to potentially take advantage of while Hockenson is still working back to a full workload. Addison is a low-end WR3 this week.

MIN WR Jordan Addison - Week 9 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 vs. Indianapolis Colts

Jordan Addison was very quiet in Week 8 against the Rams, just two catches for 22 yards. Addison doesn't have more than three catches in a single game all season. That could change this week against the Colts, a bottom-ten passing defense. There's upside this week with Addison at the flex position as the Vikings look to bounce back after two straight losses following their 5-0 start.

MIN WR Jordan Addison - Week 8 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 at Los Angeles Rams

In three out of four games played, Jordan Addison has seen just four targets come his way. Interestingly enough, he has exactly three catches in all four of his games and is on a pattern of going under 40 yards then over 60 yards. Last week, he had 66. Is that a sign he's in for a down game Thursday? He does have a favorable matchup against a vulnerable Rams secondary that will obviously have to honor Justin Jefferson. Addison is a borderline WR2 thanks to the matchup.

MIN WR Jordan Addison - Week 7 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 vs. Detroit Lions

Jordan Addison has quickly re-established himself as the WR2 in Minnesota following his injury. He had eight targets in Week 5 against the Jets but coming away with just 36 yards on three catches. Addison faces a Detroit defense that is allowing almost 330 passing yards per game. Minnesota should have more success throwing the football this week than they did against the Jets. Addison has some Flex appeal this week in a week with just two teams on a bye.

MIN WR Jordan Addison - Week 5 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 5 vs. New York Jets (in London)

Jordan Addison returned from injury last week and recorded 72 yards and a touchdown on three catches against the Packers. He also added a rushing touchdown to boot. He'll likely see plenty of D.J. Reed as Sauce Gardner will likely shadow Justin Jefferson. Addison is a flex play as he is back to being the WR2 for Sam Darnold.

MIN WR Jordan Addison - Week 4 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 4 at Green Bay Packers

Jordan Addison is expected to return this week after missing two games with an ankle injury. He returns against a Packers defense that ranks 22nd in passing yards per game. The Vikings also have Jalen Nailor, who scored a touchdown in all three games, so Addison's ceiling is a bit limited coming off of injury. No need to rush him back into lineups just yet.
