Scouting report

ATL RB Tyler Allgeier - Week 17 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 17 @ Washington Commanders
Tyler Allgeier was in the perfect spot last week, with Michael Penix Jr.'s first start correlating with a Giants run defense that ranked 31st in RB aFPA. The result was 3.6 half-PPR points and 2.0 YPA. That's a good sign that we can leave him squarely on benches of all sides in Week 17.

ATL RB Tyler Allgeier - Week 16 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 16 vs. New York Giants
Typically, Tyler Allgeier is unusable in fantasy if he doesn't score a touchdown, but he finds himself in an incredible matchup, with a quarterback change taking place in front of him. The Falcons could end up leaning more on the run in Michael Penix Jr.'s first start, and it also coincides with a terrible Giants run defense on the other side. Consider Allgeier an interesting Flex plug-in for deep leagues.

ATL RB Tyler Allgeier - Week 15 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 15 @ Las Vegas Raiders
Tyler Allgeier found the end zone last week to break a stretch of poor fantasy performances, but it's still going to be hard to trust him in the Fantasy Playoffs in all but the deepest leagues. Bijan Robinson is simply playing too well to take him off the field for large stretches of a game. Allgeier is arguably the best handcuff in the league, but his standalone value makes him a stay away in Week 15.

ATL RB Tyler Allgeier - Week 14 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 14 @ Minnesota Vikings
Tyler Allgeier's workload had been a little better than expected but almost all of the high-value touches are still going Bijan Robinson's way, including a vast majority of the RB targets. This was, of course, in play as Allgeier played on 6.8% of the team's snaps during Atlanta's blowout 38-6 loss at the hands of the Broncos. It's clear that he's not going to get much work when the team is behind, as the Falcons are far more interested in him pounding the defense in the second half of games. They are currently 5.5-point underdogs to the Vikings, so this is a week to keep him stashed away on your bench.

ATL RB Tyler Allgeier - Week 11 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 @ Denver Broncos
Tyler Allgeier's workload has been a little better than expected but almost all of the high-value touches are still going Bijan Robinson's way, including a vast majority of the RB targets. Allgeier is a fine play in Week 11 against a moderate Broncos' run defense, but his ceiling is severely capped, making him a solid-floor RB3.

ATL RB Tyler Allgeier - Week 10 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 @ New Orleans Saints
Tyler Allgeier's workload has been a little better than expected but almost all of the high-value touches are still going Bijan Robinson's way, including a vast majority of the RB targets. Allgeier is a fine play in Week 10 against a weak Saints' run defense, but his ceiling is severely capped, making him a solid-floor RB3.
