Packers claim RB Kapri Bibbs with Aaron Jones' status in doubt

The Green Bay Packers claimed RB Kapri Bibbs off waivers from the Washington Redskins, the team announced Monday.

The move could be linked to the availability of starting running back Aaron Jones. Jones took himself out of the game in Sunday’s Week 15 game against the Chicago Bears due to a knee injury suffered in the first quarter and then did not return.

Jones said following the game, he think he has a sprained MCL which is the same injury he suffered against the Bears at Soldier Field last year.

Fantasy Impact:

Williams got all the carries following the injury to Jones, and looks to be in store for a big workload assuming Jones is unable to go for Weeks 16 and 17.

Week 12 at Dallas Cowboys (Thanksgiving)

Colt McCoy takes over at quarterback for the rest of the season for Washington, which should only stabilize Adrian Peterson's volume in the rushing game. However, with Chris Thompson still out, there's little reason to believe in Kapri Bibbs. The passing down back has four consecutive games with fewer than three receptions. Stay away in a game with the second lowest total on the Week 12 slate and Washington having an implied team total under 17 points.
