LV RB Brandon Bolden - Week 7 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 vs. Houston Texans

Brandon Bolden has had some spot-duty so far this year, but hasn’t had more than five touches in any one game and is firmly behind at least Josh Jacobs on the depth chart. Even in a great matchup against the Texans, Bolden is too risky to start, given his lack of volume. Keep him on the bench in Week 7, and he’s probably not worth rostering at this point.

Week 2 vs. Arizona Cardinals

Brandon Bolden scored on a reception last week and clearly has a supplemental role in this offense, but he was still limited to just five touches – including a pair of receptions – for 28 yards. The Cardinals allowed a pair of touchdown receptions to Clyde Edwards-Helaire last week, but it’s a lot to expect production from such a limited workload out of Bolden. He’s worth a speculative add in deep, PPR formats, but he should be left on waivers in most leagues.

Week 17 vs Jaguars

Brandon Bolden has seemingly gone back to taking a backseat in the Patriots backfield, though he does have five catches on ten targets in the last two weeks. He's only a deep, deep option this week, especially with Rhamondre Stevenson also likely back in the lineup as well.

Brandon Bolden is basically the pass-catching option in New England and that's about it, making him very limited in terms of fantasy upside each week. He is on a streak, however, of at least two catches in four straight games. Regardless, a risky play this late in the season.

Week 11 vs Falcons

Brandon Bolden still has a little bit of PPR value, being one of the better pass-catching backs for the Patriots. He has 25 catches for the season after adding three against the Browns totaling 70 yards. Atlanta has been pretty giving against opposing running backs, so a few catches Thursday isn't out of the question.

Week 10 vs Browns

Brandon Bolden quietly had a solid game last week against the Panthers, with 81 total yards on ten touches. And with Damien Harris and Rhamondre Stevenson up in the air for Sunday, Bolden could see more work out of the backfield after seeing just two passing targets against the Panthers. Keep an eye on the rest of the practice week for the Patriots' RBs, but Bolden could be a deep weekly sleeper.
