ARI WR Marquise Brown - Week 8 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 vs. Baltimore Ravens

Marquise “Hollywood” Brown caught three of the four balls thrown his way last week against the Seahawks, finishing with 49 yards. Brown is quietly the WR21 this season, ahead of players like Terry McLaurin and Chris Olave, despite the struggles Arizona has had on offense. With Kyler Murray possibly coming back soon, his value could grow.

This week, Brown has a tough matchup against a Baltimore defense that ranks seventh in aFPA to opposing wide receivers. With Murray still at least another week away and a tough defense on the docket, Brown is a low-end WR3 option at best this week. Still, he’s a nice trade target for the second half of the season.

ARI WR Marquise Brown - Week 7 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 at Seattle Seahawks

Marquise “Hollywood” Brown was held to just four catches and 34 yards last week against the Rams, but he was targeted 11 times. He has double-digit targets in four of six games and is actually tied for 11th in the league with 53 total targets on the season.

This week, Brown has an excellent matchup against a Seattle defense that ranks 30th in aFPA to opposing wide receivers. Brown’s quietly productive fantasy season should continue this week, and we have him ranked as a solid WR2 option. Start him.

ARI WR Marquise Brown - Week 6 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6 at Los Angeles Rams

Marquise “Hollywood” Brown put in a nice fantasy game against the Bengals last week, despite the team getting blown out. He ended up with 61 yards and a touchdown on four receptions, though catching only four of 10 targets was a bit concerning. Still, three games with double-digit targets and three touchdowns through five weeks is pretty good production on a struggling offense.

This week, Brown faces a tough Rams defense that ranks fourth in aFPA to opposing wide receivers. Brown has double-digit fantasy points in four straight games, so regardless of matchup, he’s worth fantasy consideration. Against a difficult opponent, we have him ranked as a low-end WR2 option.

ARI WR Marquise Brown - Week 5 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 5 vs. Cincinnati Bengals

Marquise “Hollywood” Brown had a nice game against the 49ers last week, catching seven of the 10 balls thrown his way for 96 yards. Brown has double-digit half-PPR fantasy points in three out of four games this season and has averaged nine targets over his past three outings.

Brown has a pretty good matchup this week against a Cincinnati defense that ranks 21st in aFPA to opposing wide receivers. Expect another heavy dose of targets for the veteran speedster, and for the Cardinals to try and exploit the struggling Bengals’ secondary. Start Brown as a fringe WR2 option or a great player to put in your flex spot.

ARI WR Marquise Brown - Week 4 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 4 at San Francisco 49ers

Marquise “Hollywood” Brown caught five of his seven targets last week against the Cowboys, gaining 61 yards and scoring his second touchdown of the season. It’s hard to buy into the Arizona offense, but Brown has 22 targets through three games and is seeing 91% of the team’s offensive snaps. He’s going to be inconsistent, but there may be some fantasy gold to mine in this offense as the season progresses.

The 49ers surprisingly rank 17th in aFPA to opposing wide receivers, so it’s not as bad of a matchup as it may first appear. Still, Brown has been too volatile to count on and it’s still difficult to trust the Arizona passing offense enough to bank on fantasy production from it. We have him ranked outside of starter territory this week.

ARI WR Marquise Brown - Week 3 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 3 vs. Dallas Cowboys

Marquise “Hollywood” Brown had a nice game against the Giants last week, catching six balls for 54 yards and a touchdown. He led the team with 10 targets, which is a great sign for fantasy managers hoping to mine some gold from him after a low ADP all offseason. This week probably isn’t the time to bring your riffling board and metal detector, however, with the Dallas Cowboys’ stifling defense coming to town. Expect a rough day for the Cardinals offense and for Brown to fall outside of WR3 territory.

ARI WR Marquise Brown - Week 2 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 2 vs. New York Giants

Marquise “Hollywood” Brown gained 57 yards on three catches and one carry last week against the Commanders. The Cardinals were held to just 210 yards and three field goals on offense, as their only touchdown was a defensive fumble recovery. It might be a long season for Brown and the Cardinals, at least until Kyler Murray returns.

This week, Brown faces a Giants defense that wasn’t really given a chance in Week 1. They gave up a pair of touchdowns to Tony Pollard and 77 yards on four receptions to CeeDee Lamb, but the team was down 16-0 after the first quarter thanks to Dallas scoring touchdowns on special teams and defense. The Giants were 16th in aFPA to opposing wide receivers last year, so I suppose there’s potential for Brown this week. Still, the Cardinals don’t look ready to supply legit fantasy production in their passing game, so fantasy managers should keep Hollywood on the bench for now.
