Scouting report

NO QB Derek Carr - Week 14 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 14 at New York Giants

Derek Carr is our QB21 this week. He threw for under 200 yards and a touchdown last week. With six teams on bye, he just barely sneaks into QB2 territory for us this week. Carr has only cleared 250 yards in one game this year.

NO QB Derek Carr - Week 11 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 vs Cleveland Browns

Thanks to a few deep balls last week, Derek Carr had a solid performance. He threw for 269 yards and two touchdowns in their win against Atlanta.

Derek Carr is our QB22 this week, though. Outside of Superflex leagues, fantasy managers should have better options on their rosters.

NO QB Derek Carr - Week 10 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 vs Atlanta Falcons

Derek Carr gets a matchup at home against the Atlanta Falcons this week. There have been five quarterbacks to throw multiple touchdowns against them so far this season. They've been pretty solid at limiting passing yards, though, with only Baker Mayfield breaking 250 yards.

He's our QB25 this week so he's only in the Superflex coversation.

NO QB Derek Carr - Week 9 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 at Carolina Panthers

Derek Carr hasn't played since October 7th. He comes in as the QB18 this week. Carolina has been awful this year but it somewhat limits the upside of opposing quarterbacks because the Panthers don't have it in them to keep up in a shootout. There have been three quarterbacks to break 20 fantasy points against Carolina, including Derek Carr in Week 1.

He's a fine QB2 start, but not much more.

NO QB Derek Carr - Week 5 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 5 at Kansas City Chiefs

Derek Carr got off to a quick start this year but has cooled off significantly as September rolled on. His touchdown total dropped each week since Week 1 and hit rock bottom at zero passing scores in Week 4.

He's yet to break 250 passing yards in any game this season. Carr comes in as our QB23 this week and is only playable in superflex or two-QB leagues.

NO QB Derek Carr - Week 4 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 4 at Atlanta Falcons

Derek Carr is coming off his worst performance of the year. He produced his lowest passing yardage and Week 3 was the first time he didn't throw for multiple touchdowns.

They head to Atlanta to face the Falcons. They've been stingy against opposing quarterbacks so far this year. That's reflected in Carr's ranking as QB23. He's fine for superflex but you likely have better options for traditional leagues.

NO QB Derek Carr - Week 3 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 3 vs Philadelphia Eagles

Derek Carr slots in as QB13 this week after dominating the season's first two weeks. He hasn't thrown for a ton of yardage but his fantasy managers aren't complaining since he's thrown for five touchdowns so far.

The Eagles have limited passing yardage but allowed two passing touchdowns to both Jordan Love and Kirk Cousins. Carr is a solid start, even in single-QB leagues.
