Zach Charbonnet wasn't given a whole host of opportunities in his rookie season, but he did make the most of them when they came his way. Charbonnet rushed 108 times for 462 yards and a score, while also catching 33 of his 40 targets for another 209 yards. Only seven running backs ran more routes in 2023.
The new offense in Seattle might be the boost that Charbonnet needs to establish a foothold in the Seahawks backfield. The new OC Ryan Grubb comes from a pass-heavy scheme in Washington, and utilizing the backs as pass catchers would seem to benefit Charbonnet more than Walker. Still, Charbonnet is likely to begin the season behind Walker as the lead back, but even so, he could still make some fantasy noise in 2024, and projects to be an RB3 with the potential to be even more.
