CIN WR Ja'Marr Chase - Week 13 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 13 vs. Los Angeles Chargers
Since his monster game against Baltimore where he had 201 receiving yards, Ja'Marr Chase hasn't exceeded 50 receiving yards over the last four games. One of the issues is that any of the three receivers can be the main target each week. Last week, it was Tee Higgins.

Chase faces the Chargers who are ranked 3rd in aFPA to wide receivers. We still feel Chase is the No. 1 for QB Joe Burrow, but again the Bengals have chosen to run the ball more and there are several options in the passing game.

Start Chase as a low-end WR1 for Week 13. He still has the best chance to get good numbers if the passing game is needed more and has proven he is the best overall receivers for Cincy.

CIN WR Ja'Marr Chase - Week 12 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 vs. Pittsburgh

Ja'Marr Chase and the Bengals' passing game were quiet last week as the running game took over in the win over the Raiders. Chase had only three receptions for 32 yards but did score his 8th touchdown of the season. Cincy's passing game will bow to the running game when it is working and we will see fantasy numbers like that across the board with the quarterback and wide receivers.

Chase faces the Steelers for the second time this season. In the first meeting, he had four catches for 65 but scored two touchdowns. It was the only game this season in which the rookie had multiple touchdowns in a game. The Steelers have been banged up and only rank 28th in aFPA to wide receivers.

We expect this game to be a typical AFC North bloodbath with hard hits and plenty of defensive plays. Despite the favorable matchup, Chase moves down to a low-end WR1 this week. He should still make plays and probably will reach the end zone again.

CIN WR Ja'Marr Chase - Week 11 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 at Las Vegas
Despite QB Joe Burrow having one of his worst games of the season two weeks ago versus Cleveland, Ja'Marr Chase still had solid fantasy football numbers with 6 catches for 49 yards. He was targeted a season-high 13 times.

Chase faces the Raiders who are ranked 7th in aFPA to wide receivers. Even with a tough matchup, Chase has not played like a rookie and should have very good numbers after the Bengals got some rest with the off week.

Start Chase in all leagues and formats as a top 5 fantasy wide receiver for Week 11. He has been a steal for anything who drafted him in 2021 and will put up big numbers the rest of the season.

CIN WR Ja'Marr Chase - Week 9 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 vs. Cleveland
Even though he was targetted nine times last Sunday, Ja'Marr Chase had a quiet day with only three receptions for 32 yards. He did score his 7th touchdown of the season to help owners to at least some points. But don't let one game discourage you. Chase is the real deal on the field and in fantasy.

The rookie will face the Browns for the first time and Cleveland is ranked 13th in aFPA to wide receivers. With a neutral matchup, we thinkg Chase will still have the advantage and put up big numbers.

Start Chase as top 5 fantasy receiver for Week 9 as his rivalry begins with the other Ohio team. He won't make Browns fanas happy.

CIN WR Ja'Marr Chase - Week 8 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 at New York Jets
Rookie Ja'Marr Chase is looking like the steal of fantasy drafts. He has been good all season, but last week went wild with career-highs in targets, catches and receiving yardage. Ten targets produced eight receptions for 201 yards. Add a touchdown as well, his sixth of the season. If this high level continues, offensive rookie of the year is a slam dunk.

Chase heads to New York to play the Jets who are ranked 8th in aFPA to wide receivers. More attention will be paid to him, but the talent is there. Even a tough matchup will not slow him down at this point.

Start Chase as a top fantasy wide receiver for Week 8. Although the numbers won't be as high as last week, they will still be some of the best in the NFL for fantasy.

CIN WR Ja'Marr Chase - Week 7 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 at Baltimore
Ja'Marr Chase had four catches for 96 yards, his second-highest total this season, but was held out of the end zone for only the second time this season. The rookie continues to be the most valuable receiver on the Bengals and has settled into his role nicely.

Chase will experience the Ravens for the first time in his career. Baltimore is ranked 4th in aFPA to wide receivers and shut down WR Keenan Allen and WR Mike Williams last week. It will be a big test for the Bengals offense playing a division rival on the road.

Start Chase as a solid WR 1 for Week 7. He continues to put up consistent numbers and even though the Ravens have a good pass defense, Cincy's passing attack has been very good so far season to date.

CIN WR Ja'Marr Chase - Week 6 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6 at Detroit
Ja'Marr Chase had his best numbers to date last week against Green Bay. He had double-digit targets for the first time and a career-high six receptions for 159 yards. He also scored his fifth touchdown of 2021. His rookie season has been impressive so far.

Chase has a tough matchup against Detroit as the Lions are ranked 7th in aFPA to wide receivers but don't let that deter you. He has been red-hot the last two games and has settled in as the Bengals' No. 1 receiver.

Start Chase in all leagues and formats as a solid WR1 for Week 6. His numbers should continue to reflect that ranking.
