ARI RB James Conner - Week 10 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 vs. New York Jets
James Conner continued his stranglehold over the backfield with his third-straight game of 20+ opportunities; and that was without playing in the entire 4th quarter. His ankle injury could still be in play by the time this game kicks off, so consider him more of a low-end RB2 than his typical fringe RB1/2 self in Week 10.

ARI RB James Conner - Week 9 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 @ vs. Chicago Bears
The back-up tandem of Trey Benson and Emari Demercado looked like they were sneaking into more playing time a few short weeks ago, but that has gone out the window in the last two Cardinals games, with James Conner sitting well over 80% of the team's offensive snaps. This has equated to two of Conner's six games with 13+ fantasy points, and he should continue on that path against the Bears in Week 9.

ARI RB James Conner - Week 8 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 @ Miami Dolphins
James Conner now has two stinkers on the year; a 3.0-point performance in Week 3 and a 4.6-point performance in Week 6. Conner is in no danger of losing the RB1 role here, but it was worrying how Emari Demercado and Trey Benson were beginning to see more work. That got flipped on it's head last week when Conner bounced back with 16.2 points on 23 opportunities.

The Dolphins have operated as a run-funnel defense to this point, which keeps him in fringe RB1/2 consideration.

Week 7 vs. Los Angeles Chargers
James Conner now has two stinkers on the year; a 3.0-point performance in Week 3 and now a 4.6-point performance in Week 6. Conner is in no danger of losing the RB1 role here, but it is worrying how Emari Demercado and Trey Benson are beginning to see more work. In a game that could easily turn into a slog, Conner should be considered as more of a top-20 option than a locked-in RB1 in fantasy.

James Conner had a rough Week 3 against a surprisingly stout Lions run defense but things should be much easier in this matchup against the 30th ranked defense in RB aFPA. He's back in line as a fringe RB1/2 against Washington.
