GB TE Josiah Deguara - Week 12 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 vs. Los Angeles Rams
Week 11 saw Green Bay Packers' tight end/fullback hybrid Josiah Deguara catch his first NFL touchdown pass, which could be a sign of good things to come. The Packers have been in desperate need of a receiving threat at that spot since Robert Tonyan's season-ending injury, and Deguara – a 2020 third-round draftee – has the potential to develop into that.

For Week 12, however, we expected Deguara to be on the bottom rung of the top-40 fantasy tight ends. Our models project Deguara as a low-end TE3/4 in spite of the Los Angeles Rams' sixth-highest ranking by schedule-adjusted fantasy points allowed (aFPA) to tight ends.

Week 9 at Kansas City

Josiah Deguara, Green Bay's former third-round draftee, will likely be the next tight end turned to in the wake of starter Robert Tonyan's season-ending injury. That said, with quarterback Jordan Love under center, Deguara's fantasy prospects don't look so hot. He's off the fantasy radar in all but the deepest of leagues as a TE3, despite Kansas City ranking fifth-most forgiving by schedule-adjusted fantasy points allowed (aFPA) to tight ends.
