HOU WR Tank Dell - Week 16 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 16 at Kansas City Chiefs

Tank Dell was always viewed as a boom-or-bust prospect but has been more boom than bust this season. The Texans not being as explosive as a whole has hurt as well. Now the Texans head to Arrowhead to face a strong Chiefs defense in the middle of a tough stretch of games, three in 11 days. Dell is a borderline flex option this week and likely not one you really want to rely on to try and reach the championship.

HOU WR Tank Dell - Week 15 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 15 vs. Miami Dolphins

Tank Dell was always going to be a boom-or-bust play, even when he became WR2 after the Stefon Diggs injury (and WR1 when Nico Collins was out). Dell has eclipsed 50 yards just five times this season and hasn't scored a touchdown since Week 8. Dell makes for a low-end flex play against the Dolphins that are among the teams allowing the fewest passing touchdowns this season (14). Only four teams have allowed fewer. It's a gamble going into the playoffs.

HOU WR Tank Dell - Week 13 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 13 at Jacksonville Jaguars

Tank Dell came away with 72 yards on three catches (five targets) in Week 12 against the Titans, including a 39-yard catch. Dell didn't play in Week 4 against the Jaguars but has to feel very good about his prospects this week. For some context, Stefon Diggs caught five passes for 69 yards and had a six-yard rushing touchdown in Week 4. Entering Week 13, the Jags rank 29th in fantasy points allowed to opposing wide receivers. Dell is a nice WR2/Flex option.

HOU WR Tank Dell - Week 12 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 vs. Tennessee Titans

Tank Dell ended up with the same stat line as Nico Collins last week against the Cowboys (four catches, 54 yards on seven targets). Collins should be over his hamstring injury and may start commanding more attention but Dell remains a nice option as he continues running as the WR2 in Houston. That said, the Titans are a solid team against the pass, so just be cautious with Dell this week but he is certainly worthy of a flex spot this week.

HOU WR Tank Dell - Week 11 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 at Dallas Cowboys

Tank Dell may have only had 39 yards last week against the Lions, but he did have five catches and was targeted nine times for the second straight week. Nico Collins is back and he should command a majority of the targets, but Dell is still in the mix as the WR2 and is still worthy of being a WR2/3 in fantasy this week against a Dallas team allowing over 210 passing yards per game.

HOU WR Tank Dell - Week 10 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 vs. Detroit Lions

Tank Dell had a huge breakout last week against the Jets, going for 126 yards on six catches. It's looking likely that he'll have another week as the WR1 as Nico Collins is looking less and less likely to suit up Sunday night. If Collins is out, Dell remains a nice WR2 option against an improved, but still vulnerable at times, secondary of the Lions. C.J. Stroud's targets have to go somewhere and Dell had nine of them last week.

HOU WR Tank Dell - Week 9 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 vs. New York Jets

For the time being, Tank Dell is effectively the WR1 in Houston, at least until Nico Collins comes back. The good news is that Dell is on a bit of a scoring streak. He has a touchdown in two of his last three games. This week, he faces the Jets and may see plenty of Sauce Gardner, though Gardner hasn't been the shutdown corner he was in his first two seasons. Still, it's a tough matchup but given he still has C.J, Stroud throwing him the football, being the WR1 in Houston adds plenty of fantasy value for Dell. He's good as a WR2 this week.
