IND QB Nick Foles - Week 16 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 16 vs. Los Angeles Chargers

Nick Foles will get the start this week against the Chargers. He last started for the Bears in 2021, tossing 250 yards and a touchdown. Foles has been able to put up numbers in the past, but it’s hard to know how he’ll look in this offense, which has struggled all year, is missing Jonathan Taylor, and faces a surging Chargers defense that’s playing better the last two weeks than their 14th-ranked aFPA standing suggests. Consider Foles a risky QB2 option at best.

CHI QB Nick Foles - Week 12 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 at Green Bay Packers

UPDATE: Foles will not play in Week 12 vs. the Packers.

The Bears put on one of the worst offensive performances in recent memory when the Bears played in Week 10 as Nick Foles finished with 106 passing yards, no touchdowns and an interception. He also had a season-low 26 pass attempts (in a game where the Bears were out their starting running back). He should improve this week, but not by much. Foles gets a tough matchup against the Packers who are No. 7 in aFPA quarterbacks. Foles is averaging exactly one touchdown and one interception in his starts this season with about 237.7 passing yards. That's the kind of performance you can expect in Week 12, making him a bottom-five option among quarterbacks.

CHI QB Nick Foles - Week 10 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 vs. Minnesota Vikings

Nick Foles had his best game of the season last week, but that's mostly because he threw the ball a season-high 52 times. Foles finished with 335 yards (season-high) with two touchdowns and no interceptions. It's the second time he's had multiple touchdowns in a start this season and the first time he's had a game without a turnover. Expect his numbers to lessen this week against the Vikings as it's highly unlikely Foles hits 52 pass attempts again. The Vikings are averaging fewer than 40 pass attempts against them per game, so it's more likely we see something in that range. Foles should be viewed as a bottom-five quarterback in Week 10.

CHI QB Nick Foles - Week 9 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 at Tennessee Titans

Nick Foles had his best game as a starter last week, throwing for a season-high 272 yards and finishing with two touchdowns (his most in any start this season). He also threw an interception, and has thrown an interception in every game he's played in 2020. Foles is only averaging around 14.5 fantasy points per game, which is less than 26 quarterbacks this season. He gets a fairly favorable matchup this week against the Titans, but Foles isn't a great fantasy option. He's among the worst options at quarterback this week.

CHI QB Nick Foles - Week 8 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 vs. New Orleans Saints

Nick Foles had one of his worst games of the season last week, finishing with no touchdowns and two interceptions. Foles still hasn't thrown for more than one touchdown in any of his starts this season, and has at least one interception in every game he's played so far. He has a favorable matchup this week against the Saints (No. 26 aFPA), who have allowed the second-most touchdowns to quarterbacks this season. Despite the favorable matchup, this Bears offense has struggled for the most part and it's hard to trust Foles. He's a bottom-five quarterback option in Week 8.

CHI QB Nick Foles - Week 7 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 at Los Angeles Rams

In all three of Nick Foles' starts this season, he's finished with one touchdown and an interception while averaging 230 per game. He did add a rushing touchdown last week, but those aren't reliable on a weekly basis for Foles. Instead, you can likely rely on that one TD, one INT performance, and slightly above 200 yards. That's what we have projected for Foles in Week 7 in a fairly tough matchup against the Rams. Los Angeles is No. 12 in aFPA quarterbacks, and Foles is already a poor option for most weeks. He's one of the worst quarterback options available in Week 7.

CHI QB Nick Foles - Week 6 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6 at Carolina Panthers

Nick Foles had practically identical stats in his second start (243 yards, 1 TD, 1 INT) as he did in his first (249 yards, 1 TD, 1 INT), and those numbers are essentially what you can predict from Foles moving forward. In fact, his numbers may be even lower this week in a tough matchup against the Panthers, who are No. 1 in aFPA. Foles is a below-average option whose value gets even lower in a poor matchup. He'll be among one of the worst starts at QB iN Week 6.
