PIT TE Pat Freiermuth - Week 17 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 17 vs Browns

Pat Freiermuth is expected to be back this week and not a moment too soon. This offense needs all the help it can get and Freiermuth can add that extra spark for Ben Roethlisberger. He scored a touchdown the first time the Steelers and Browns met and has three touchdowns in three primetime games, including two against the Bears in Week 9. He's a borderline TE1 this week.

PIT TE Pat Freiermuth - Week 15 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 15 vs Titans

At this point, the yardage will be minimal from Pat Freiermuth, but the odds of him scoring a touchdown are pretty good. He now has seven touchdowns after scoring one against the Vikings. Six of them have come since Pittsburgh's Week 7 bye. Against our No. 19 defense against opposing tight ends and facing almost a must-win, it's a good bet Freiermuth will score again this week.

PIT TE Pat Freiermuth - Week 14 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 14 vs Vikings

Sunday was only the second game since the Steelers' bye that Pat Freiermuth did not score a touchdown. He also still hasn't reached 50 yards receiving since the bye. But he's still a focal point of the offense (four games of at least 70 percent snaps since the bye). He could be even more so if Chase Claypool can't play on Thursday, so keep an eye on that. Freiermuth is still a low-end TE1.

PIT TE Pat Freiermuth - Week 13 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 13 vs Ravens

The good news is that Pat Freiermuth has been practicing in full this week after entering the concussion protocol earlier this week. So the odds look good that he'll play against the Ravens. And Pittsburgh needs him as they try to right the ship. Freiermuth scored again last week against the Bengals, giving him five touchdowns in the last five weeks. If Pittsburgh gets in the red zone, chances are Freiermuth is scoring six. He checks in just outside our top-10 tight ends this week.

PIT TE Pat Freiermuth - Week 12 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 vs Bengals

Pat Freiermuth was a small part of Pittsburgh's comeback attempt against the Chargers as he scored a touchdown. The small part is that he only had 11 yards. Eric Ebron also scored a touchdown. However, Ebron is now out with a knee injury, so it's all Freiermuth at the tight end position for Pittsburgh. This week, he gets another shot at the Bengals, whom he scored his first NFL touchdown against back in Week 3. He's still a strong TE1.

PIT TE Pat Freiermuth - Week 11 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 vs Chargers

Safe to say Pat Freiermuth would love a do-over of last week. His line was a little lower than he's become used to in recent weeks, but that late fumble in overtime was a back-breaker and ultimately led to the game ending in a tie rather than the Steelers potentially attempting a game-winning field goal. Sunday is a good chance for him to bounce back. The Chargers are our 24th-ranked defense against opposing tight ends. And two weeks ago, when the Steelers were last in primetime, Freiermuth found the end zone twice. Let's see if he keeps that roll going.

PIT TE Pat Freiermuth - Week 10 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 vs Lions

Baby Gronk has arrived. Pat Freiermuth has three touchdowns in his last two games and he is absolutely officially a focal point of the Steelers' offense. He has also cracked the top 10 TEs this week and has solidified himself in TE1 territory in lineups.
