PIT TE Pat Freiermuth - Week 11 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 vs Chargers

Safe to say Pat Freiermuth would love a do-over of last week. His line was a little lower than he's become used to in recent weeks, but that late fumble in overtime was a back-breaker and ultimately led to the game ending in a tie rather than the Steelers potentially attempting a game-winning field goal. Sunday is a good chance for him to bounce back. The Chargers are our 24th-ranked defense against opposing tight ends. And two weeks ago, when the Steelers were last in primetime, Freiermuth found the end zone twice. Let's see if he keeps that roll going.

PIT TE Pat Freiermuth - Week 10 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 vs Lions

Baby Gronk has arrived. Pat Freiermuth has three touchdowns in his last two games and he is absolutely officially a focal point of the Steelers' offense. He has also cracked the top 10 TEs this week and has solidified himself in TE1 territory in lineups.

PIT TE Pat Freiermuth - Week 9 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 vs Bears

It was only a matter of time, but Pat Freiermuth has taken over as TE1 in Pittsburgh and he has been doing pretty well in recent weeks. Two straight games with seven targets and he scored a touchdown last week against the Browns. Freiermuth still competes with Chase Claypool and Najee Harris for targets, but if you're in a pinch for a TE this week, Freiermuth is far from a bad option. But of note, Chicago is our No. 1-ranked defense against opposing tight ends, so just be aware. But Freiermuth has plenty of talent that can overcome that.

PIT TE Pat Freiermuth - Week 8 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 vs Browns

Pat Freiermuth had his best game to date against the Seahawks with seven catches for 58 yards. He was tied for second in targets with seven. Cleveland is top ten in our matchup defense rankings against tight ends, so it's still a tough spot with Freiermuth as a full-on dependable starter, but he's taken over as the lead TE in Pittsburgh and is worth a look if you need a streaming option if say if you normally have Mark Andrews or Darren Waller, or if you start two TEs.

PIT TE Pat Freiermuth - Week 4 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 4 at Packers

Pat Freiermuth played fewer snaps than Eric Ebron against the Bengals but saw five targets to Ebron's three and Ebron has two straight games without a catch. Still, the tight ends sort of negate each other, though Freiermuth has become the TE to own in Pittsburgh, making him a deep TE2 this week.
