Week 12 – Damaris Johnson vs. Cincinnati Bengals
In the win over the Browns last Sunday, Damaris Johnson finished with a season-high five receptions, but for only 21 yards. His longest catch went for just eight yards. While it was a good sign that new QB Ryan Mallett came his way eight times, DeAndre Hopkins and Andre Johnson combined for 11 of his completions. The Texans ran 84 plays and controlled the clock, with Alfred Blue leading the ground attack. Even if Arian Foster returns this week, expect Mallett to throw the ball more often than Ryan Fitzpatrick did over the first nine contests. However, Damaris is at best the third option at WR, so he’s not worth starting.
