MIN RB Aaron Jones - Week 16 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 16 at Seattle Seahawks

Make that seven games with 100 total yards for Aaron Jones as he is getting his momentum back after a short quiet stint. It won’t be easy for that hot streak to continue this week. Seattle sports a strong defensive front but they do rank 22nd in rushing yards allowed per game (127.5). If Jones can get another week with 20+ carries this week, he should be on his way to another game with close to 100 total yards, if not over. Jones should be viewed as solid RB2 this week. He helped bring you to the dance. Stick with him.

MIN RB Aaron Jones - Week 15 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 15 vs. Chicago Bears

Aaron Jones posted 84 total yards and a touchdown on 15 touches in Minnesota's big win over Atlanta. He has scored a touchdown, either rushing or receiving, in three straight games. That stretch includes his Week 12 meeting with the Bears, when he totaled 129 yards. Chicago ranks 24th in fantasy points allowed to running backs. The Vikings will try to replicate that ground success in Week 15. Jones is a solid RB2 this week.

MIN RB Aaron Jones - Week 14 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 14 vs. Atlanta Falcons

Aaron Jones had one of his quietest fantasy days of the season with just 28 total yards and a touchdown. He saw just five rushing attempts as he lost two fumbles early, leading to Cam Akers and Ty Chandler getting a few carries as well. Jones does have a favorable matchup against Atlanta's 17th-ranked rushing defense, allowing 121 yards per game on the ground. But he has to protect the football.

Week 13 vs. Arizona Cardinals

Aaron Jones sure broke his slump is a nice way, going for 106 yards on 22 carries last week against the Bears. It was Jones' first 100-yard rushing game since Week 3 and only his second of the season. However, it's his 6th game with 100 total yards. The Cardinals present a solid opportunity for Jones. Arizona is in the middle of the pack in rushing defense. With the volume Jones continues to get, he remains a strong fantasy each week as you make your playoff push.

MIN RB Aaron Jones - Week 12 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 at Chicago Bears

Aaron Jones had one of his lowest outings of the season with just 39 yards on 15 carries. His 2.6 yards per carry was his lowest in a game this season. Jones was also held out of the end zone for a fourth straight week. He gets the Bears this week, 23rd in the league in rushing yards allowed and 22nd in fantasy points allowed. That touchdown drought may come to an end this week.

MIN RB Aaron Jones - Week 11 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 at Tennessee Titans

Aaron Jones is again dealing with a rib injury. He's been limited in practice this week but should be good to go against the Titans. Even with missing about a quarter on Sunday, Jones still saw 17 carries and went for 88 yards. He added 13 receiving yards to surpass 100 yards total. He ended up playing 44/84 snaps while Cam Akers played 26 snaps. The Titans rank 14th in fantasy points allowed to opposing running backs. As long as Jones is good to go, he's a very solid RB2, maybe borderline RB1.

MIN RB Aaron Jones - Week 10 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 at Jacksonville Jaguars

Aaron Jones totaled 82 yards on 25 touches last week against the Colts. This week, he gets the Jaguars, who rank 16th against the run. The good news is his volume has gone up over the last few weeks, from 14 to 19 to 21. Jones remains a low-end RB1 heading into a matchup with the Jaguars, who rank 16th in the league against the run (125 rushing yards per game allowed).
