Week 1 vs Dolphins
After winning the starting quarterback job from Cam Newton in the preseason, the spotlight now really shines on Mac Jones in his regular-season debut against the quarterback he once backed up at Alabama, Tua Tagovailoa. While Jones had a nice preseason and certainly earned the starting job, we shouldn't rush out and put him in our starting lineups just yet. He's certainly roster-worthy, but he faces a Dolphins defense that, on paper, still looks pretty darn good, especially after making Xavien Howard happy by re-doing his contract. Keep an eye on Jones this week and how New England utilizes him, but unless you're in a deep quarterback league, go with a safer option for Week 1.
