Week 16 at Los Angeles
Considering Kaepernick had just 183 yards and two scores in a shootout against Atlanta's porous pass defense, expecting him to do much against the Rams would be a stretch. The Rams have had four games in which they have held opposing passers under 200 yards, compared to three games above 300 yards. While they have allowed five games with three or more TD passes, they came against far better passing games than San Francisco. In fact, back in Week 1, Blaine Gabbert had just 170 passing yards and a score against the Rams in the 49ers' lone win this season. There are better options available than Kap.
