The NFL announced Thursday 11 teams have committed to attend Colin Kaepernick’s private workout in Atlanta on Saturday and more teams are expected to also commit by Saturday.
The teams that have already committed are the Cardinals, Falcons, Browns, Broncos, Lions, Dolphins, Patriots, Giants, Jets, Buccaneers and Redskins. The league also announced former NFL head coach Hue Jackson will lead the drills and former head coach Joe Philbin will also be in attendance. There has been some questioning of the workout with the league but it is interesting that one-third of the league has already committed and more are expected. How much will come out of this is yet to be determined and nothing may happen until 2020 but it’s still an interesting development to watch unfold. We’ll see if any more teams commit before Saturday.
